The steps as described by Victoria Premier Daniel Andrews …
The actual steps
For overseas readers, in Australia we call this “Tuesday”.
Also, I’m a Christian so reincarnation is not something I have ever believed in. But … Grandpop?
This abstract artwork by Dutch painter Piet Mondrian has been hanging upside down in various galleries for 80 years.
I have to admit, the first time I saw it I didn’t think it looked right.
The mistake was only realised this year when curator Susanne Meyer-Buser was researching the artwork’s history.
But the 1941 work, made of adhesive tape, will continue to be shown upside down for fear that moving it will cause it to disintegrate.
Of course, it’s not the first time a painting has been displayed upside down.
The same thing happened with Mona Lisa.
It’s obvious once someone points it out.
The Andrews stairs, "they were this big". Maybe he had one too many glasses of his posh whiskey and didn't remember as he seems to not remember a lot of incidents very well. " A boy on a bike ran into me" Really Dan? He threw himself at your windscreen did he? The police accidentally forgot to breathalyse the driver Mrs A. There are some serious corruption issues in Vic. If the Victorian people don't give this bloke the flick they are fools.
Art for Arts sake. The mind boggles as to what is considered Art. The trailblazers like Monet and Van Gough had skill and talent and broke the rules. Anyone can call themselves an artist but it doesn't necessarily mean they have any talent. Some of the work I have seen in exhibitions and galleries is revolting, along with the asking price. I do art so I get it regarding the need for creative expression but some of my stuff is just crap and stays in the studio, other artists should do the same.
The ‘stairs’ have been a topic of disbelief in my circles. Without exceptions all had visualised them as a very substantial staircase. Who would have thought!!!
Every day it seems another media expose in the life of Dan, where the master of deflection goes into sneering overdrive. Like a well used frying pan that’s had far too much heat; which event in Dan’s life will finally see the Teflon completely peel off, exposing the myriad lies and corruption.
