So another Christmas has come and gone. The merry wishes are generally sincere, but the cliche is getting a bit ragged and sounds more like the Aussie conversation, "'ow yer goin' mate? Orrite?" "Yairs cobber going righto. 'owsit with youse?

"Not bad mate. See ya later eh"?

"Tooright. Seeyer. Toorah."

How many more Christmas times do we have left before the Babe in the manger returns as the King of Kings again to close the age and bring on the ultimate Peace on Earth, good will to all mankind?

Makes yer think Eh?

One historical fact I learned in yesterday's sermon was the truth of Jesus' real identity as mentioned in Ezekiel 44v1&2. It says that the "Lord God of Israel hath entered in by it" (the east gate). This is Christ's triumphant entrance into Jerusalem, where he rode on an ass and was mobbed by the people strawing his way with palm branches. He entered by the east gate which has since been closed off and a cemetery now occupies the area in front of the gate. (This was done by the Muslims to prevent the fulfilment of the prophecy that had already taken place.) God has already entered, thus revealing the identity of Israel's God as being none other than the one who came to lay down his life for poor sinners such as we are.

Of course Alan, Islam recognises Jesus as a prophet, but not God. Therein lies their dilemma.

Yes a great message James. Christmas does not remind us about a life to emulate but a life that was our substitute because we could never live a righteous life. “It’s no longer I that live but Christ who lives in me”. I particularly get sick of church leaders who completely miss the true gospel in their Christmas messages.

Thank you, thank you for the clarity, and humour, you bring to the hypocrisy of our world. I have great faith that the world will turn against this insanity, that God and the quiet voice of human rationale will prevail, led by the likes of yourself, ACR, the Heterodox Institute, traditional churches, SkyNews.

Have a wonderful Christmas with family and friends. Take a few days off, relax and replenish for the battle ahead.

Thanks James, the Truth needs to be spoken about as the lack of absolutes is slowly destroying the society in which we live. The politicians, governments and self-interest groups have no answers, primarily because they have disregarded the absolutes established by God in favor of their own relativism. So sad but a sign of the times in which we live! Have a blessed Christmas as we all reflect upon the birth and life of the Son of God, which now lives in those who believe in His finished work on the Cross.
