This was a great piece thank you. From a Christian 39 y O female. I'm supposed to be in the category that represents most of Australia however my belief in Christianity also make me a minority.

Thanks CK. I'm glad you enjoyed it. And I'm sorry to hear you are so average! :)

What a sorry state of affairs. The devil controls our beloved nation. Keep loving and serving Our Lord Jesus Christ no matter what happens. You can change hearts by the way you live your life. Souls need to be saved from eternal loss before the end of their life. God love everyone. Stay strong and don’t lose faith.

There was a time in Australia when employees would put up on signs and in Newspaper advertisements, “Catholics need not apply”. I pray those discriminatory days do not return.

I somewhat blame the second Vatican council for this decline. Not only did it have disastrous effects on the church but it caused a knock on effect to the rest of mankind when the Freemasons and communism infiltrated the church which is the Bride of Christ.

Well done James. So painfully true of the new ignorance.

Ha, Mike Carlton comment is exactly what those of Sodom said about Lot. And how did it work out for Sodom.

I think Joseph was way ahead of time with his coat of many colours…

In today’s society his brothers bashing would’ve definitely been classified as a gay hate crime!

Maybe we need to rewrite the story from a different angle with a new “trans”lation of the whole Bible to be more inclusive?

The bit about Jesus dying for ALL sinners is way to vague and excludes people who don’t identify as sinners…?

Love your witty and somewhat facetious comments. I am totally used to that as I spent 43 years in the army and a number of them were quite proficient at it. Thanks again James. 😄🎶

Hey Rodney. Honestly, if you don't laugh - you'll cry!

Let's not forget that in these times, we are told there will be a great falling away... from faith, from truth, from biblical principles, from objective reality, from sanity. This applies equally both inside the church, and outside of it.

There is no vacuum created in the fanciful utopia of secular humanism, the gap will always be filled with worship of something... if not God then self.

And as we see a world slipping rapidly into societal decline and quantifiable madness, it underscores the fact that the more light you run from the more darkness you find yourself in; the more truth you reject, the more error you will embrace. There is no middle ground.

Decline in religion? Nonsense.

Decline in traditional religion? Perhaps.

Correct.

I had been thinking along the same lines James. But you are so much clearer than I…

A moral vacuum never exists…

It is a sad state of affairs when men take their destiny into their own hands. My thoughts on the One World religion coming will be Climate change. The purveyors will be chanting climate hell to those who don't agree. We can only say - Come Lord Jesus, get us outta here! But actually, the decline is sad. I have seen it in my own family

Atheists don’t know that 46% + God = a majority. He will have the last say.

Love how you articulate the truth so clearly, thank you.

Fascinating quote to finish with.

The quote to finish with is the last line of Yeat's poem The Second Coming. I highly recommend it.
