Man was originally made in the image and likeness of God which is God's spirit in man but this was lost in the Fall and all are now born equally cursed desperately needing to be born again by grace in Christ who is the Image of God and restores His image in those He valued enough to die for and not those He justly casts into Hell. The greatest problem of the Church today is that it preaches a false man centred gospel which refuses to declare that salvation belongs to the Lord and not man.

Oh yes they can! As a member of the aforementioned group, if I become a woman, and assume a faux aboriginal identity (think Uncle Bruce Pascoe), I'm now a black, female lesbian and therefore as oppressed as f**k.
It's a take on what the Catholics call Transubstantiation, the literal transformation of water and wine into the body and blood of Jesus Christ. The woke have borrowed heavily from Christianity, but there's no redemption for the sinner, only cancellation.

So many in the Western Church have become "children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting".
