Australia is also on the downward spiral like Canada and it is terrifying! As a mature adult I just want to leave this mortal coil on my terms and when I am ready!

So sad, James. Unfortunately it is not surprising as we have seen it coming for decades. Deeply disturbing that young people make decisions before their brains develop enough to reason. If it was available here, I wonder how many less friends and family I would have as life throws challenges that may seem insurmountable at the time but after the events and refining we grow and life can go on in good ways.

This godless world! We see just the tip of the iceberg of all the evil. I cannot imagine what God sees and knows!!

Nailed it once again: 'linguistic gymnastics', 'nihilism'. Humans are challenging God's divine created order in just about every area of life (marriage, man/woman, gender identity, human life/death, race and truth) and placing themselves as God. A 'tipping point' that is about to topple over.

I didn't realise this was a page where differing opinions to the herd are deleted. Not my tribe here at all then. This sickness appears to now be everywhere .

The brain is not fully developed until about 25 years of age and people get wiser the more experience they have, so how is a mature 12 y.o. able to decide what the rest of their life will be like?

Some of the best minds and richest people on earth had a very hard time living through their early years. This is summed up in the motto, "Luctor et emergo – I struggle and I emerge".

Or as Malcolm Fraser once said, "Life wasn't meant to be easy"

If we believe in God as our creator, we know that He doesn't make junk. Then we should know that we have been made for a purpose and only He knows when we have finished and our time is up.

The "death of God" atheist often quotes Nietzshe's "Parable of the Madman" as the definitive text in their philosophy but always neglect to mention that Nietzsche foretold of the consequences of killing God.He said "Who gave us the sponge to wipe away the entire horizon? What were we doing when we unchained this earth from its sun? Whither is it moving now? Whither are we moving? Away from all suns? Are we not plunging continually? Backward, sideward, forward, in all directions?" Surely this is the result of subjective morality? No metric or moral code with which to measure right from wrong and good from evil. No horizon, no up nor down. If, as the atheist suggest, we are all (small g) gods, is not abortion and euthanasia on demand just a continuation of the death cult? But now having dispatched of God,is it not time to move on and kill the (small g) gods.

This is horrific. A nation that abandons the Creator of everything suffers the consequences. I hear the words Joshua said when he entered the Promised Land to choose life or death, but as for me and my house, we choose life. There seems to be such a fascination with death, but what these people don't realise is, no matter what they believe or do, they must stand before the judgement seat of God and give an account of their lives. Every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord. Better this side of the grave than the other. What a sad and sorry state so much of this world is in!

Just dreadful. Belgium already allow this. Imagine the soul of the doctor that kills those children who opt for this. It is one thing to kill yourself. No one else is responsible. But to medically kill a child is Infanticide. Jesus said, "If anyone causes one of these little ones to stumble, it would be better for them to have a large millstone hung around their neck and be drowned in the depths of the sea. Woe to the world because of the things that cause people to stumble! Such things must come , but woe to the person through whom they come." Matthew 18:6-7 Jesus said children were special and precious and we had to become like one to enter the Kingdom of God. That we already kill the unborn is heinous and to contemplate this one is wicked.

I have always thought that the euthanasia was away of ridding the health system of high care patients.

The evil that’s out in the open today should be shocking to the majority of people. Hardly anyone says what they think anymore, if in fact they do think. It’s like the masses have been hypnotised so they just agree with everything.

Thanks James for being a voice in the wilderness.

Yes Pamela, I agree this account is very sobering indeed. At the end of the day if this all keeps going there will only be strong minded people left here on earth. and the govt will not like that at all as they won't be able to control us. I also believe that our part is to protect human life. I am so saddened by this news. So sick to my heart. May we stand firm in Truth so that our light shines and we draw people to the Light. May we be the builders of strong minded people. May we share the Truth with those struggling. I do not know where we are going as a society but I do know very personally the One who is truly in control.
