"Blockheads United" is a good name for these misguided people who have been delivered all the good things this wonderful country has given them on a plate. If they had to work or fight, like our predecessors through hard times and wars for their health & welfare they may have different opinions. Too much time on their hands and a lack of proper education.

Thanks again James for making insanity seem humorous. Perhaps Blockade logic or Blockade history or how about Blockade brain cells? These seem closer to their outcome rather than their unclear objectives. I remember going to uni as this BS was gaining traction and if you spoke against the rhetoric you were told you won't pass. It appears that our educational system is so out of touch with reality that it is not surprising that truancy of approx 1/3 is not uncommon. School/ uni etc used to give you access to growth in both width and depth of a chosen discipline. Now the edu system is so polluted with bs, Blockade growth, desire to learn, specialist skills, etc that hope that your sacrifice of $ and time is extremely poor value and what you hoped to focus on was watered down with politically correct bs. Perhaps Blockade progress is more apt.

Blockade Australia's other "job": Environmental activism, arguing for banning plastic products...

and once again they're just grasping at straws.

I see what you did there.

Thanks for the great history lesson James. Puts things in the right light. But these Blockheads are not interested because it doesn't fit the narrative. History, real science actual facts for that matter are "inconvenient truth's" and should be ignored. Mantra is what really counts.

Interesting isn’t it how people jump on these bandwagons! Must make them feel super special! I’m impressed “she” was happy to be referred to as “her” …I guess you can’t be on two bandwagons? I don’t think I could muster enough energy to get ratty about something that happened centuries ago! I’m flat out thinking about today!! 🤣

A greater concern would be, where from whom do these kids come from to be so troubled? Surely PARENTS cant justify their behaviours & deem them NORMAL.?🙄🙄

Yes Lynette I agree…unfortunately young people are finding their security, identity, freedom and purpose in these things.

Me thinks these people have been educated beyond their intelligence. So much rubbish comes out of universities these days. This younger generation has been taught to think in such a way that destroys logical thought. Maybe we all have to start speaking Aboriginal and calling this country by a name we can't pronounce, then we can go back to hunting and fishing and living in caves

I think you've hit on one of the main problems - our education system.

I am shocked at how little my sons (aged 17) know of the Australian system of government.

Constitutional monarchy??? They have no idea what that means, let alone how it functions. And they have gone to very good schools. They can tell you their pronouns though! :)

Great story James thank you. Just this week I printed Captain Pedro Fernandez de Quiros’s prophetic prayer (14 May 1606), over the Southern Land of Holy Ghost, for many praying friends. De Quiros never sighted the actual land, so his prophetic prayer is also considered to cover the islands of the South Pacific and NZ. No other nation or territory has ever had such a divine proclamation over it. 🙏🏻

Blockade Australia and their ilk are angry divisive activists who seek to destroy all that is virtuous, decent, equitable and seeking the best for others. They have no moral compass or genuine compassion.

I am with Captain de Quiros when after his proclamation fireworks exploded, canons roared, soldiers fired their muskets as he and his men shouted,

“Long live the Faith of Christ.”

Ah yes spiritual obedience is what our blockade people are wanting here. Name is no problem to them. However they have an "unfortunate" mantra based on "conspiracy theory" apparently that our Govt is trying to take away our civil rights. Blocking the motorway is we are told from the "pulpit of truth" far worse than any erosion of civil rights. Blodifino.

The discovery of ‘the Great Southland’ is a fascinating history.

In 1606 Portuguese explorer Pedro Ferdinand de Quiros secured sponsorship from Pope Clement VIII and King Philip III of Spain to seek out the southern continent – Terra Australis Incognito (Unknown South Land). A letter to de Quiros from King Phillip read: "That no time be lost in discovering that Australia region so far unknown, so these people may have knowledge of the Gospel and be brought into Spiritual obedience."

We need the ‘knowledge of the Gospel and be brought into Spiritual obedience’ now as much as we did 400 years ago!
