Is Adroit the word? Oh yes. Adroit. Excellent piece James.

There is no Welcome to Country. I cannot, will not, will not, look backwards. I cannot acknowledge the spirits of Dreamtime who are demons. Effectively.

We need to move forward, not worship the past.

I can trace my Australian ancestors back 7 generations, so I really do feel like I am aboriginal (born here)

I would ask them how they would feel if all of the migrants went back to where their ancestors came from and left them to fight off the Chinese? Would they prefer to be ruled by the Chinese or accept migrants as fellow Australians and sing, "We are one, we are Australia, and from all the lands we come, we have one voice, etc."? Don't hear that sung much anymore as Labor and the Communists want division, with the Aboriginal voice, so the Communists can conquer and rule.

Thanks James! I too am totally over being welcomed to my own country, and having to acknowledge 'elders past, present and future' before the start of meeting, etc. Please show me some of those elders... I am not having a go at the quiet and integrated Aborigines, but the virtue signaling activists, who seem quite comfortable with their western comforts and would not like to have the lifestyle of their ancestors of 250 years ago...

Loving this, along with all your previous posts ❤️ I have yet to be ‘welcomed to country’, anywhere, but then, I’m obviously not attending any of the politically correct places 😡 After listening carefully to your speech, I’m almost convinced that your answer to the VTP will be a big fat NO. Hopefully the same as the vast majority of awakened Ozzie’s 👍👍👍

Peter, none of them understand the realities of our constitutional changes that have taken place over the past years, particularly this current lot.

It's a very good point you've made, I was not aware that it would bring back the original constitution....it's been so convoluted and brushed over in the last 15-20 years it's difficult to follow....

As I was born here and have never been overseas I feel at home and have never had anyone welcome me to my own home. I do not wish to leave as I see that the other lands are just other places to live and I am happy with where I am.

I am a very welcoming person and you are all welcome to come around without any ceremony.

Thanks Peter. That is very kind of you.

To be honest, I actually find all this 'welcome to country' garbage deeply offensive and I hope many others do too. In fact, it is one of the most racist phrases I have ever heard spoken in Australia. What I find most astonishing though, is how many everyday Australians just simply sit back and accept being continually insulted in this way. Where is the backlash from the general public?

By continually 'welcoming' us to 'their' country, these elite Aboriginal 'representatives' are trying to make it clear to us that we are unwelcome to ever consider Australia as our home. As far as they are concerned, we are visitors or renters perhaps, but definitely the underdogs, here to be made subservient to the wealthy socialist elites, who masquerade as 'First Nations' representatives.

Good one , James. I will respect the office and gladly welcome King Charles 111. He is by no means the worst monarch to ascend to the throne. His Great grandfather was a character and made his mother despair. Ironic that he married to his mistress’ daughter.

Oh dear James I am now quite looking forward to turning up at my mate's big birthday bash on his farm near Gympie next month. Seems I am going to be very welcome not only at his place but everywhere else I go which I am used to of course but not with these sorts of formalities. Very cool and hospitable. Is there red carpet with brown and yellow tinges now at Brisbane airport with first nation noises over the tannoy? Is there some sort of welcoming dance on arrival for everyone with songs? Just hoping because when I come home afterwards I am told I am not welcome at all and that grudgingly I can stay so long as I spend all my time working and paying tax to pay for our "first nation" people whose laziness, noisiness, lawlessness and graspiness is world beating and absolutely mind blowingly incomprehensible to foreigners. It seems to me you must be the lucky country!

I find it ironic how people like Albo and Adam Brandt accuse Australians of English descent of living on stolen land and yet, at the same time, encourage these same Australians to want to sever their ties with their English homeland by becoming a republic.

So where do people like Albo and Brandt suppose we Australians of English descent belong, exactly? People like Albo and Brandt say they have the utmost respect for Aboriginals who want to preserve their cultural heritage and yet expect Australians of English descent to be more than happy to throw their English cultural heritage out the window.

I love it! King Charlie might even get asthma or need a gas mask as protection from all the smoking ceremonies he will have to attend if he receives so many welcomes. Of course, he will need to learn the new names of all the cities and towns and people groups that have taken over this fair country

At a time when we need the monarchy the most we get the worst version of it. King Charles is nothing like the Queen...he is right to think that the monarchy it at its weakest when we think of having a head of state like him. I fear that with the King in charge we are at our weakest tipping point to become a republic..with the much loved Queen the republicans had no chance but with the King of woke we are in a whole lot of trouble...what solid argument could be given when the king is like an anchor that doesn’t grip or like a boxer that has no punch. William and Kate would be another story much like the Queen they are a picture of duty and respect unlike King Charles and Prince Andrew whose reputations are all over the shop...they have more holes in their dealings than a sieve....selling the monarchy with Charles at the helm is akin to a boat heading for an iceberg !

He should be looking at the Albanese government (Republicans) not the Australian people.

Albo may swear allegiance but we all know he lies!!

He will be the first PM to swear allegiance to the monarchy since the UK joined the EU, took away their rights to make their own laws, made the Queen an ordinary citizen and then Whitlam changed the constitution illegally (without a referendum). Then they created the fictional person "Queen of Australia" to swear to.

That made us a republic and took away all our God given human rights. They also made our government a company that is registered on the NYSE.

I wonder if Albo knows that swearing to the monarchy and defender of the Protestant faith, since Brexit, will end the republican company rule and allow us to bring back the original constitution and the laws that are based on the authorized version of the bible?
