Ayaan Hirsi Ali has become a Christian.
The Somali-born author of Infidel, and former politician, renounced Islam after 9/11 and embraced atheism, becoming one of the most sought after speakers in the world.
But she wrote last week that the triple threats of China, radical Islam and progressive woke ideology had convinced her Christianity West’s only hope for survival.
She continued …
“I would not be truthful if I attributed my embrace of Christianity solely to the realisation that atheism is too weak and divisive a doctrine to fortify us against our menacing foes.
I have also turned to Christianity because I ultimately found life without any spiritual solace unendurable — indeed very nearly self-destructive. Atheism failed to answer a simple question: what is the meaning and purpose of life?
Ayaan Hirsi Ali’s conversion to Christianity is significant, and is making headlines around the world.
It demonstrates how the light of the Christian message shines brighter and brighter as darkness encroaches.
I know not all of my readers are Christians (yet) but I highly recommend everyone takes a few minutes to read her essay, “Why I am now a Christian”.
When you become a believer there is great rejoicing, no matter who you are, where you have come from or what you have done- for we are ALL sinners.
However; when a person whose name is known globally, becomes a Christian, the World takes notice.
Aayan Hirsi Ali’s life’s journey from Moslem to Atheist and now Christian is a powerful testimony of the revelation of God’s sacrificial love, grace and mercy -oh such perfect timing 🙏🏻
God bless and protect Aayan as she shares her testimony. 🔥
Being a Christian gives me hope and a purpose. God is act work in our lives and yes sadness and suffering are part of all that. But one day soon, I hope I will go to be with my Saviour, Jesus in my eternal home. Yes there are flawed Christians out there who make mistakes, engage in erroneous activities and teaching but the Lord is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow.
