Perhaps Andrew has learnt something from the Manly pride jersey disaster.

You can't force people to do things they believe are wrong when they know that God is their judge.

I was sorry for both him and the Bombers, but after reading that he started all this woke gay pride round, I feel he got his just deserts.

He is neither a Christian or a leader, he is man who is blown along by whatever wind blows.

When he looks back on his decisions, perhaps he will spare a thought for all of us who no longer watch these woke teachers with their self righteous virtue signalling who earn a living by running around on grass and playing with a ball.

They are our bread and circuses. They are a distraction from the evil that our leaders are pushing onto us to destroy our culture and lead us into the worship of Satan.

I say Andrew will suffer even more in the after life.

I am sorry but I can't feel much sympathy for Andrew Thorburn. He used his position to promote sin. He denied faithful, true teaching from a minister at the church he belongs to. When challenged he immediately caved in and resigned rather than fight and draw a line of truth in the sand and standing firm. He has refused to use his wealthy , influential position in society to challenge the premier or the corrupt press and make it easier for poor, unimportant, less able Christians to also stand up for the gospel truth and defend themselves from attacks by the woke terrorists.

Peter denied Christ 3 times, repented and then helped by the Holy Spirit stood firm against all pressure for the rest of his life, eventually being martyred for truth.

We can only pray that Andrew Thorburn takes time off, thinks, prays, repents and that he comes back strong and that we hear about him as a strong, faithful witness and leader some time in the future.

My thoughts Andrew Thorburn should have stood his ground and gone for unfair dismissal.

Remember Israel Folau.

A discussion for all walks of life to be part of

Petitions

I guarantee this outcome would have been reversed.

Even Novak Djokovic stood his ground now look he’s back and what a proud man.

Because to let these woke ideologies get away with this just makes these situations get worse and to continue down this Antichrist movement.

Their is a time when you have to stand up against them.

We too are part of this society!

He’d been better off if he had stuck to God’s word; where is he now???

I could have respected Thorburn if he lived by his Christian beliefs and not pandered to the woke.

What a shame and yes... what exactly comes after woke? Hate!

Every Christian who tries to placate this monster makes it harder for the rest of us. People see Christianity as weakness. Scomo could have done so much whilst in office, but he was weak too. Where are the Daniels and Gideons for our generation? Where are the Davids who are going to declare that our God is fighting for us and He will give us victory? I pray I will be strong, because it is coming in thick and fast.

I’m glad this happened, it’s flushed out the weak , half hearted , Luke warm pretender of a Christian that basically hasn’t made a real stand for what he believes … we can only hope and pray that as he reflects this year that he finds a new found boldness and renewed strength to make a stand for Jesus in the marketplace, as Jesus has always stood up for him.

Might seem a bit tough , but now is the time we must choose who and what we stand for !!

I liken the woke mob to a pack of feral dogs. They look harmless enough from a distance but step inside their yard and they will attack. Mr Thorburn should have never tried to appease the mob, he was never going to fit the profile. Once they run out of sensible fodder they will turn on each other. They don't understand the concept of "do unto others what you would have others do unto you. They are soulless, Godless undignified and inhumane. We have to maintain our ground and keep the faith.
