Love your summary of ‘the plan’ for Dutton. He was so good in recent interviews on 3AW and 2GB. He sounds more confident and capable every time he speaks.

So hopeful for Prime Minister Peter Dutton in 2025. The country needs him. Imagine Australia without Greens, Teals or Labor.

Everyone said the US election was too close to call and look what happened there , I feel that a similar result will occur here as well .The US voters had had a gutful of the same crap that we have had to cop for two and a half tears so enough is enough .

Sadly, we’re looking like the biggest idiots of the West. I wonder how bad everything has to get before the morons who voted for Labor stop doing so????? God HELP US PLEASE!

Need him to keep running so that he loses, yes loses. Loses rather than be the jellyfish that he is, a spineless excuse for anything. Oh how I despise what he has done to Australia.

"Do you really believe Anthony Albanese has your back? Or do you feel like Anthony Albanese needs to get off your back?"

Absolutely the latter. Albanese is riding on the back of the hard-working tax-payer, enjoying the wind in his face while using his lofty position to keep the financially struggling Aussie kicked down.

It's time for Australia to pull him off and throw him to the ground with a crash!

As ever Sir - highly entertaining, totally apposite and a sound dose of common sense. Pardon my absence for a couple of weeks - my wife and I are going on an early and long anticipated Summer Holiday! God Bless you all.

I have no confidence in Dutton. He doesn’t value free speech. The coalition still have net zero and no plans to defund theirABC. No plans to stop immigration and no plans to balance the budget. They spent line wounded bulls before and during covid. They have plans to stop the dangerous MRNA vaccines and kick Moderna out of Australia. So we have no choice with this uniparty in charge. No matter how much Credlin and Kenny talk the coalition up.

There are no plans from Albo. DOn't agree that Dutton doesn't value free speech. He was opposed to the misinformation and disinformation bill. As for ABC I am not sure that they have no plans to defund them - there is just so much else to do. I have been liaising closely with the Liberal candidate for my electorate and there is a lot of policy plans they have. My understanding is that they are waiting for the election to be called to formally announce them.

I hope you are right in your hopes of the LNP. The LNP need to stop being wishy washy with their policies and where they stand. If they come down hard on the left and openly fight hard for true conservative values, I think many Australians will embrace and respect them. Australians don't like luke-warm politicians - ones where you don't really know where they stand, like weak Scott Morrison, who, by trying to please everyone, succeeded in pleasing no-one.

We need conservative leaders who will stand strong against the left, like Giorgia Meloni of Italy, Viktor Orbán of Hungary, Javier Milei of Argentina and Trump of the USA. If we don't start seeing these types of leaders in action soon, our country will be ruined by the left.

Totally agree. There is an incredible commentator called Elicia Le Bon. She is an Iranian lawyer (obviously no longer there). She talks about how the Islamist extremists and the left came together in the Iranian Revolution in 1979 and we are seeing the same tactics employed in the West now. If someone doesn't stop it we will all end up like Iran.

Oh and one flag, no welcomes to country and dissolve all these aboriginal ‘Voice’ affairs and an audit on the money spent on aborigines. The list is long if they want to win.

On its own there is forty billion a year could be saved by treating us ALL as equals

They could have been announcing policy along the way. Dutton supports digital id and the ban on under 16’s. I think he did immense damage when they supported the u16 bill.

Expand full comment

As a parent with teenagers I don't have such an issue with the ban. Saying that I think it should be parents actually doing their jobs and putting boundaries in place rather than the govt stepping in. I did not see the legislation but I heard the wording was not great so I agree with you there. I do think though, if given a choice between another term of Labor of a fresh Liberal govt it is a no brainer. If Albo gets in my family is seriously thinking of moving overseas for a few years.

Very good JM

Minority is their best outcome and is looking less likely.

As we get closer to the election, I’ll be watching to see whether members of our government begin to stand in front of our country’s flag rather than leave it hanging at the end of a line of three. Or have they learnt nothing?

Expand full comment

I flag is for ALL Australians, 1 is for a few hundred thousand, almost all of mixed race and 1 flag is for a few thousand islanders in Torres Staight. You are correct they should refuse to use anybut our national flag.

A but like allowing cross bred, so called Aboriginal children ( 1/16th or 1/32nd black only) to wear a different uniform to our local high school. Where incidentally about 200 kids have been removed over the last 2 years and sent to better high schools in Albury or boarding school.

That would have been enough for me to change my kids school WTF are our "leadership" trying to do to our country?

Gas shortage, unable to make bricks, that sounds remarkably like the Children of Israel having to make bricks without straw. Ah, but God had a plan and His plan is true not a load of lies that the people are being fed by this government. Albo a one-time wonder? I actually wonder how he got to be Prime Minister! If he is the best we can do, God help Australia!
