Well the more Albo and his cohorts have a conversation the more I know to vote NO. Thanks QANTAS.

Thanks, James for pointing out token, woken and broken. So much for Albanese saying both sides will get to speak in fair and balanced ways re y/n

Yes he came out of the closet years ago and wants to rub our noses in his abominable behaviour, but I was trying to stay on topic.

God will punish them all and if he is still at QANTAS they will suffer along with him.

QANTAS needs to get rid of Joyce before he destroys the brand completely.

He is Irish and wants to destroy it.

Business and sport both need to stay out of politics.

If they want to become one there is a process to be followed if they want to be our representatives.

If he was just Irish, okay, but he is a dedicated LETTERS+ man.

Qantas is pretty much owned by the government how many millions if not billions of tax payers money has been gifted to them to stay afloat over the years. A non woke company would have gone broke a long time ago.

And it’s a “no” from me

Thanks James!

There must have been some kickback to Qantas for this from the Albanese Govt. What a disgrace.

I wonder if the fact that the prime minister’s 23-year-old son, Nathan Albanese is a member of QANTAS exclusive Chairman’s Lounge had anything to do with the Joyce Voice choice? Members are exclusively curated by Joyce.

Indeed. Wind horses couldn’t make me use Qantas or Jetstar!!

Wasn’t he replaced why is he still there

Wow! If current commentary is accurate, it seems that the Voice won’t be supported in any jurisdiction. So would the majority of Qantas shareholders support Joyce’s actions at an AGM or SGM? Doubtful. I should think that with the side deals in play, neither Joyce or Albanese would seek approval at a general meeting. Now that’s politics!

In 1967 I was waiting for my flight at the (then) Tan Son Nuit airport in South Vietnam. Along with many other 'tourists' we got more anxious as the time for our aircraft's arrival drew near. Maybe we'd be told our trip home was cancelled or had been shot down! Then all of a sudden, a great roar went up from my fellow diggers as we observed the prettiest sight, we'd seen in our 12 months tour. The whopping great red tailplane with the flying kangaroo! QANTAS special flight to OZ. Marvelous! But when we hit Sydney our 'Welcome to Country' was about as well dressed as an Indigenous character in a bed sheet, wearing hideous make-up looming out of the smoke haze! Back then the only welcome home was for me, a one-way ticket from Sydney to Brisbane on the mid-morning time slot. No speeches, no ceremony, no Mayoral or Military dignitaries thanking us for our service. I was just an ignominious, lonely, uniformed nobody. Since then, I was a Qantas Frequent Flyer, but this latest cynical, politically motivated virtue signaling by the Qantas Boss has washed away any allegiances I may have felt to the carrier. Sorry, Mr. Joyce, but I won't fly Qantas again, and I will use the power of one and vote NO!

“They’ll be flying across our skies, encouraging Australians to have a conversation about what constitutional recognition will mean for our country.”

There's that bloody woke meme "having a conservation" again. The alphabet media (the government funded one) can't stop using the "c" word. Every day, relentlessly, its we have to have a "conversation" about this or that or that awful "lean in" expression. There's even that incredibly biased internet thingy called "The Conservation" which I no longer read because it keeps banning my conversation contribution as "not contributing to the message". It only allows you to contribute if you agree with it. Which brings me back to Elbowsneezy's comment. I wouldn't encourage any more conversation amongst the people, because the more we talk, the more the "no" argument gets out there and the more the "yes" vote drops, particularly in Queensland (the "Q" in QANTAS) where its 60% no, 40% yes. Keep the conversation up people.

The little pink leprechaun is up to his usual virtue signalling. The average Aussie can afford a holiday at the moment so his new stickers will go pretty much unnoticed. What a bunch of arrogant twits.

I'm with you James. Can you imagine Hudson Fysh doing such a thing to his Qantas? I am quite determined never to fly Qantas again and seeing as my passport is about to expire, I don't think I will be flying overseas in the forseeable future, so as far as it goes, I will be driving. That Mr Joyce has totally desecrated the Qantas name
