This is a superb sermon encapsulating the essence of the Christian faith and crystallising the symbiosis between our civilisation and its spiritual foundation. This 'sermon' should be broadcast from every pulpit in the land; it should be printed in the form of a Tract and distributed as widely as possible and it should serve as a primer in every theological college and seminary across the face of Christendom. Thank you for an uplifting and inspiring start to the week.

I have been watching this bloke for some time now. He is an absolute buffoon. His behaviour during the Wuflu campaign was appalling. Libs need to pull out a few of his videos from back then to remind the citizens of QLD who he really is.

Can I get an amen in the back!

This right here needs to be the message at most churches across the west right now. We don’t need conservatives in power. We don’t need to boot the lefties out of power. All of that might make us feel good for a minute. What we need is people and churches who are established in God’s word not afraid to preach the truth who know how to show God’s love to a lost and dying world by pointing them to Jesus.

Thanks for doing just that James.

Amen and Amen James - an excellent piece/sermon👍. Oh to hear such conviction and truth from our many silent or insipid pulpits. So many thought provoking lessons that brought me back to when I was a new Christian with so much to learn. May the Holy Spirit Indwell within and enlighten our young people who have known the Truth and been enticed away by the world’s thinking (the father of lies). Romans 12:1-2. … but be transformed by the renewing of your mind ……

Excellent article James. Many thanks. As you say "Jesus is not simply loving. Jesus IS love. So to understand what it means to be loving you must understand Jesus since He is the only reason we even know what love is. Jesus said loving others is the second most important thing for us to do. The first priority is loving God. There’s good reason for this. It is in loving God that I learn how to love others'.

That is such a well written argument and explaination of our world today James. I have a grandson (one of many), who was born again at 16 and on fire for Jesus. His hormones took over at around 19-20 and he found a girlfriend and started living with her. He brought her to chuch, she couldn't even last through the first song, so he stopped going too and he says they are married in God's eyes (but he can't tell us what God's eyes are like). They now have a baby and he truely believes he is right with God ! This is a generation who says we are not to judge and they don't want to hear the truth. I had 2 children who both committed their lives to Jesus at a young age (before my husband and I), They married and we have 9 grandchildren and from those 9 grandchildren, we have 13 great great granchildren and only 2 of those 13 have been born inside the bounds of marriage!!!!!!

Dianne, I believe there will be many who will “see the light” albeit born out of adversity. Keep praying and believing

Loved the article James. The lack of correct judgement based on scripture has been the bane of the church down through the ages particularly now days since it has adopted the idea that the Spirit and the Word are not connected.

This lack of understanding is expressed in the idea that the miracles preformed by Jesus were not connected to his claims of divinity. The idea that Allah and the triune God of the bible are the same, among professing Christians, must make it difficult for those like Ayaan Hirsi Ali.

An exemplary piece James describing so well the post-Christendom time we now live in. We truly need to understand the word of God in all it’s truth, grace and wisdom; how to live and answer the godless inversion of His profound Word. That ‘ALL have sinned and fallen short of God’s glory’ Romans 3:23.

‘For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord’

Without the Lord - life revolves around the narcissistic virtuous self, embracing the counterfeit and the enemies lies.
