STUDENTS worried about climate change are being enrolled in special therapy groups at the University of East Anglia in the UK. According to a BBC report, almost half of all university students worried about climate change “once a week or more”. They felt “hopeless, angry and depressed”.
Quite a good list, I hope this has been forwarded to Saint Greta! Could add: Learn about history, and more than just the last 5 years. Learn how to interpret proper data like long standing temperature charts and reports about droughts and floods over a few centuries. Visit old people in nursing homes and let them tell you a few stories about droughts and floods when they were young and how they managed to survive those.
Go sailing is my tip!!! It will flush out any anxiety about what ever you're anxious about!!! As for the other tips: I'm guilty for making a comment on my phone!!! 🤣🤣🤣
Back in 1975 I remember how newspaper stories were often warning of an approaching new ice age. The professional alarmists then did a 180 degree turn and shifted to warnings of "Global Warming" which was going to create some sort of a hot house effect. In order to be more inclusive, concern expanded to include any catastrophes that may be linked however tenuously to "climate change" - which became the all inclusive new buzz word. Now new employment vocations are arising to wipe the noses of people who can't seem to think outside of the box created by the "experts."
For worried students or potential bed wetting adults: Go for a walk in the mountains, donate your old clothes, volunteer in a community food pantry, shake hands with a farmer - and if you’re still worried, do some long term research on climate and see that the world experiences cycles.
For James regarding point 4: women are also reading your articles (many more from my constant sharing) just a little tip to remember to use examples that include us all - there’s also neurotic men who add to our woes!)
An appropriate and almost exhaustive list James. However I would preface paragraph 4 with a tip that they should train for and play footie or netball depending on their ability and then they would be too knackered to worry about anything except hamstrings, knees, backs, shoulders and getting to the bar in time.
Loved this and love your sense of humour : )

Thanks for keeping us amused, James!
