Speculation was rife immediately after the Bondi stabbings that the perpetrator was a jihadist.
The Muslim and Woke communities, but I repeat myself, were immediately outraged.
How dare people jump to conclusions.
How dare people assume the worst of Muslims.
The very idea of an Islamic jihadist attack on Australian soil was not only inconceivable, it was clear evidence of bigotry.
And then, not 48 hours later, an Islamic jihadist kindly obliged by stabbing a priest in the face.
The so-called Islamophobes were were only out by two days.
But now, just two days after the stabbing of His Grace Bishop Mar Mari Emmanuel by an Islamist allegedly upset by criticism of Muhammed, the real problem is once again Islamophobia.
The Australian Financial Review went with this headline today …
Ah yes, every time a Muslim attacks infidels, it is the Muslims who are the victims, even as the bloodied infidels lay in hospital beds.
It’s an amazing twist of which Olympic gymnasts would be mighty proud! And yet, with he help of a highly flexible media class, Muslim leaders manage to pull it off every single time.
It does, of course, beg a question.
Why is Anglicanophobia not a thing?
Why is Baptistophobia never talked about?
And what of SalvationArmyophobia?
Never heard of it?
Me neither.
I can only conclude that no-one is afraid of Anglicans, Baptists or Salvos because Anglicans don’t blow up concert halls, Baptists don’t shoot up shopping malls and Salvos don’t go all stabby stabby in mosques.
So - and this is just a thought bubble - maybe the way to stop Islamophobia is for followers of Islam to stop doing stuff that makes people scared. You know, like stabbing priests in the face.
But while ever they do, can you really blame the public for thinking the likely perpetrator of public violence is an Islamist jihadist?
Are the Australian public really bigots?
Or are the Australian public just human beings who instinctively recognise patterns, only to be denounced for doing so.
Let’s face it Muslims are a protected species. They can get away with anything. I wonder if the stabbing of the bishop had not been beamed all over the world if the authorities would have been so quick to call it a terrorist attack. That description allowed the moronic head of the AFP, the silly bloke that rubs ASIO and Inman Grant to go after X and Elon Musk. I imagine that it would have called a line wolf attack if we all hadn’t heard the insane ravings from the boy that stabbed the Bishop then there would be a ‘nothing to see here’.
Here’s an idea - the Muslim Council, like the AFL, should order jihadi junior to do 3 months of Christian/Bible lessons with the good Bishop as his penance ( and to display their inclusivity and diversity!)
( Like the Port Adelaide player is subjected to 3 months of LGB+~ for making a rude remark).
Learning about love and forgiveness instead of hatred and violence might do this kid some good.
