You Can Have Your Own Beliefs As Long As They're the Same as Ours!
We are inclusive and respect everyone's beliefs - except yours .... and yours .... and yours ....
Ten years ago we used to joke that, with the non-stop promotion of homosexuality, it was only a matter of time until it became compulsory.
And while we are not yet at that point, there can be little doubt that support for homosexuality is now all but mandatory.
Take, for example, A-League footballer Musa Toure who has been forced to apologise for his views on the code’s Pride Round.
Toure, a Muslim, found himself in hot water after daring to express beliefs about sexuality that were contrary to the approved narrative.
He wrote on Instagram …
“For the Muslim brothers and sisters I’m an Adelaide United player but also I’m a Muslim before anything.
“I do not support the pride round. I love football but I have no say … the Muslims in my team all disagree about the pride round but we also have no problem with the LGBTQ PEOPLE!! It’s their life.”
Adelaide United claim to “respect individual beliefs”, but that respect was sorely tested when their player’s beliefs didn’t align with theirs.
Officials called foul and quickly gave the man whose beliefs they respected a red card for expressing beliefs they could not respect.
The club issued a statement saying …
“We respect individual beliefs, and we will continue to embrace diversity, and welcome individuals from all backgrounds.”
Which, of courses, was hilarious since they had just told Toure to delete beliefs that were not uniformly shared by people from one particular background.
“Our club is committed to inclusivity and respect for all, and through the pride round, we want to celebrate everyone, no matter who you are, who you love, or what faith you hold.”
“We respect individual beliefs...." except yours.
"welcome individuals from all backgrounds...." except you.
"we want to celebrate everyone, no matter who you are...." except you.
The A-League insist they want to “celebrate faith” but the faith they promote is a faith unknown to Christians, Jews or Muslims.
The gay pride loving faith that wants to run around in rainbow colours extolling the virtues of homosexuality and gender fluidity is known as apostasy.
The A-League can promote it all they want, but it is a total anathema to serious Christians, Jews and Muslims.
Their statement concluded …
“We will continue educating players and staff about the significance of respecting diversity and promoting inclusivity, while fostering an environment where everyone feels valued, welcomed, and accepted.”
Why is it the religious players who always need educating and never the authoritarian sports administrators?
What sort of education demands that you shut up and apologise for your views so that you can feel included, valued, welcomed and accepted in all your glorious diversity?
They’re taking the piss, surely.
It just goes to show that ‘diversity and inclusion’ are not, as they suggest, about diversity and inclusion. They are, instead, totalitarian words that uphold a brand new State-sponsored Woke religion that is every bit as demanding (if not more) than those they denounce.
‘Inclusion and diversity’ are blunt instruments used to enforce ideological compliance.
Toure dutifully castrated his mind and removed his social media post.
He issued an apology, saying …
“I want to apologise for me comments on social media in relation to this weekend’s Pride celebration.
“Having spoken to my teammates and my club, I understand that my comments were hurtful and insensitive and for this I’m hugely sorry.
“At my club a lot has been done to ensure all players and fans feel included and can be themselves.
“My comments did not reflect this. I will continue to grow and learn and look forward to this weekend’s matches.”
Toure’s agent said his player had made “a mistake” because the whole thing was “complicated” and he was “very remorseful”.
Toure should have gone all the way and come out as gay himself. Or at least bi.
Why not? At the rate we are going, it will soon be compulsory.
It's Israel Folau's brand of Christianity I'll stick with as I don't know of any other sort.
Still, it’s refreshing to have a Muslim fall foul of their hypocrisy for once, instead of a Christian. Lovely.
