It’s good to know ABC social commentator Jane Caro is still performing mask theatre.
But what I’m really interested to know is how she fits the mask over the halo without snapping the elastic.
Stunning and brave Caro. Stunning and brave.
Whatever the virtue of masks, though, they don’t protect against bad grammar.
I wore a mask to go for a drive last night. I was the only person in the car wearing a mask. I was, incidentally, also the only person in the car. I just wanted you to know.
But back to Caro’s courageous trip to the cinema …
If one was really worried about Covid, one would be curled up under the doona rather than at the cinema.
Nevertheless, it’s good to wear a mask at the movies. You never know which of the actors on screen may have Covid.
But why didn’t she don a hazmat suit just to be safe?
One can only imagine how difficult wearing a mask must make drinking chardonnay in Gold Class.
I am reliably informed that once you’ve had your 38th booster shot it is safe to remove the mask - briefly - to sip a drink before hastening to put it back on. Provided you don’t inhale, at all.
Anyway, as soon as I finish building my cyclone fence to keep out mosquitos I will find that Australian of the Year nomination form and fill it out.
🤣🤣🤣 virtue signalling at its very best Jane, from the woman who loves drawing attention to herself usually with profanities.
Thanks James, good start to the day with a good belly laugh - on Jane
This is the sort of self-indulgent holier-than-thou pantomime that lost me.
If you were truly concerned about reducing transmission, wouldn’t you simply forgo unnecessary group activities like attending the cinema?
