Like a woke snake swallowing its own tail, the prestige minorities are now consuming each other in pursuit of becoming the ultimate exclusive minority

THE woke tower’s foundation of sand is on view for all to see now that lesbians have been told they will be breaking the law if they exclude men identifying as women from their gatherings.

In a case of Woke v Woke, Tasmanian Anti-Discrimination Commissioner Sarah Bolt ruled biological men who are attracted to women while imagining themselves to be women are just as lesbiany as lesbians.

The ruling outraged actual lesbians who insisted that transgendered women can’t be lesbians because they are not real women and therefore cannot be same sex attracted, except to men. Which would make them gay, rather than lesbian.

LGBTQ activists, shocked to learn that they are subject to the same anti-discrimination laws they have been subjecting the rest of the community to, announced they would appeal the decision.

A spokeswoman for the Gay and Bisexual Alliance who is an actual woman told the Australian newspaper at the time:

“I want to exclude people with penises.”

… which, let’s be honest, did not make her sound like a very inclusive lesbian.

She continued:

“There are many events that cater for the trans community in Tasmania. This event was going to be just for lesbians who are same-sex attracted.”

Wait. The LGBTQ community isn’t actually focused on inclusion? Colour me astounded. I think we figured that one out during the same sex marriage debate.

And speaking of ‘LGBTQ community’ – that fantastical pride parade of authentic selves harmoniously fighting oppression - it seems they have now decided that the feather boas are the constrictors.

The so-called LGBTQ community is more akin to warring Afghan tribes that only come together when they have a common enemy (by which I mean Christians) to fight. The rest of the time they revert to the same old prejudices.

A spokeswoman told The Australian:

“Many lesbians feel ­uncomfortable having transgenders in their spaces, because they are not female; they are biological males.

“We are forced to have them in our groups but none of us want to date them … I feel discriminated against on the basis of being a lesbian same-sex ­attracted (woman).”

So, like a woke snake swallowing its own tail, the prestige minorities are now consuming each other in pursuit of becoming the ultimate exclusive minority.

They risk spinning in such ever-tightening circles that they will end up disappearing completely.

I am in total agreement with the Gay and Bisexual Alliance on this one. It is ridiculous that lesbians must include people in their lesbian groups who, from a biological standpoint, are actually heterosexual men.

The irony is that the same gay and lesbian groups that championed gender alchemy are now having to eat its bitter fruit.

If female athletes must include biological men in their Olympic events, and if female bathers must include biological men at their female-only pools, then why should lesbians get to be transphobes?

Unable to discriminate on the basis of sex, and prohibited from discriminating on the basis of sexual orientation, the only alternative was to argue that gender was biologically determined after all. Which is exactly what the Gay and Bisexual Alliance is now saying.

When ideology meets reality at the Launceston lesbian bingo night, the rubbery woke speak is quickly ditched for chants of “follow the science”.

Like I said. “Bingo!”

Perhaps this is the beginning of the end for the crazy, twisted gender knot that western society has tied itself in.

Can we finally admit the idea that individuals can change biological sex is a pretend belief that people mostly hold to look good in front of others?

And can we also admit that most people will quickly drop the idea if enough of those others start publicly challenging it, or if biological men in frocks line up to croon k.d. lang oldies at lesbian karaoke night - whichever comes first.

The real problem though, is not discrimination against lesbians trapped in men’s bodies but something far more sinister - the power of an unelected, unrepresentative public servant like Sarah Bolt to define who you can and cannot associate with.

While it’s enormously fun watching progressives eat their own - aided and abetted by publicly-funded ‘experts’ – we dare not be silent or indifferent since we can be sure our autonomy will be up for grabs next.

So then they came for the rest of us and by the time I realised my country had turned into a quagmire of identity politics and discrimination laws it was too late, because there was no-one allowed to speak the truth and bring the nightmare to an end.
