Friday April 1st

This is NOT an April Fools joke.

Police horses in London are being spooked by rainbow-coloured pedestrian crossings painted on roads in support of LGBTQ people.

Why people need a pedestrian crossing to affirm their sexual orientation is anyone’s guess. But I digress.

“Something we hadn't expected was that some of the Horses are getting Spooked by the bright colours of the Colourful Crossings project and other road markings in Central London,” Met Police tweeted.

Sure. Or maybe the horses are just homophobic.

Anyway, Met Police are now training horses to get used to gay pedestrian crossings before they can resume duties.

Personally, I think the Met Police should just get unicorns. Problem solved.

Alternatively, we could go back to a time when roads were for driving on rather than for virtue signalling.

Thursday March 31st

The Solomon Islands have signed a security pact with Communist China. This raises the real possibility of Chinese military bases being positioned just a Ni Hao away from Sydney.

And it begs the question, how on earth did Australia and New Zealand allow this to happen?

The answer is obvious.

The Chinese Communist Party has been played chess while Western politicians have been playing woke Twister.

Wednesday March 30th

Jamie Wallis became Britain’s first transgendered MP in one of the strangest “coming out” stories you’ll ever hear.

Wallis claimed he had known since childhood that he was a woman but had kept the fact hidden until, just recently, when he was raped by a man he met online for sex.

The rape caused stress that resulted in him running from the scene of a car accident some months later. And, as a result, he now wishes everyone to know his truth – he is transgendered.

Oh and, as if the story didn’t need a little more spicing up, there was a blackmail attempt in the middle of all that as well.

Anyway, though transgendered, Mr Wallis will not be changing his appearance or his pronouns. So he is a man who will continue to present as a man and be referred to as a man while insisting everyone agree he is a woman.

Of course, he has been described by no less than the British PM as “brave”.

What does any of this matter? If Mr Wallis wishes to identify as a woman, it is not a concern for anyone but himself and those closest to him.

But an ideology that insists we should change our entire understanding of what it means to be a man and a woman is of huge concern, because that affects everybody.

And on that note, this piece on Lia Thomas, published in Spiked, is well worth reading.

Tuesday March 29th

Australian Greens leader Adam Bandt, took a break from the climate crisis emergency catastrophe disaster to get in on the trans action.

He tweeted: “Trans rights are non negotiable. Gender affirming healthcare saves lives and should be free on Medicare. I'm proud to be in solidarity with our trans friends and colleagues every day, and I'll continue to fight for you.”

So there you go ladies, if you vote for the Greens you are voting for a Party that insists women with penises will be using your bathrooms and biological men will be stealing your daughter’s athletics trophies. There will be no negotiation.

Incidentally, in what sense is lopping off your penis“gender affirming healthcare”. It’s gender denying mutilation.

But that’s just my transphobia showing.

But back to the Greens “non-negotiable” trans lunacy …

A story that went completely unreported this week was the harassment of Melbourne Greens Councillor Rohan Leppert for daring to question trans ideology in a private Facebook discussion.

Leppert, who is himself gay, questioned whether responding with an affirmation only approach to children who believe themselves to be trapped in the wrong body, and criminalising any counselling to the contrary, was wise.

The ensuing social media pile-on was typical of those who declare themselves the most tolerant … it was vile.

Leppert, who managed the campaign to have Adam Bandt elected to Federal Parliament in 2010, made a lengthy response on Twitter defending his commitment to the trans community, but, tellingly, including this acknowledgment: “I also know that any public debating point short of full-throated support for the concept of gender identity in all its applications is deemed by some to be hateful.”

Indeed it is Mr Leppert, including by your Dear Leader.

Monday March 28th

Actor Will Smith laughed at Chris Rock’s joke about his wife; assaulted Chris Rock to defend his wife’s honor; accepted an Academy Award; tearfully declared himself chosen by God as a “vessel of love”; and received a standing ovation.

Only in Hollywood!

Almost as bizarre as the incident itself was this take, published Monday, from Forbes Magazine columnist Janice Gassam Asare who asked, “Why are jokes always at the expense of black women?”

Well Janice, “Karen” sends her regards; along with about half a billion blondes.
