We are witnessing the wholesale acceptance of mental illness as normality while reality and objective truth, as you say, are abandoned. It is a widespread cultural mental illness born of a spiritual degeneracy as society rejects biblical Truth, does what is right in their own eyes and ends up believing the lie.

The concepts of right and wrong must have an objective basis from which to appeal, or else they become simply relative to the culture.
And if your objective truth comes from the bible, you cannot with biblical consistency argue against the LGBTQ agenda, adultery, abortion, euthanasia, racism, or critical race theory without the literal, historical truth of Genesis 1–11. This is because a biblical position on identity, sex, gender, marriage, the sanctity of life, and racism is founded on the literal historical truths of Genesis 1–11.
