The Greens Vote Not to Extend Sympathy to Israeli Terror Attack Victims
While ACT Labor leader Andrew Barr refuses to take a side, and so takes a side.
Those self-declared champions of human rights, the NSW Greens, have refused to denounce the killing of civilians and have refused to extend sympathy to those who died at the hands of Hamas.
They voted against a motion in Parliament yesterday that would have done those two things.
But are we really surprised?
The NSW Greens, after all, actively promoted the pro-Hamas rally in Sydney where participants marched to the Opera House - which had been lit up in Israeli colours - chanting “gas the Jews”.
The outrage caused was not enough to persuade the ACT Greens that they should not support a pro-Hamas rally there this weekend.
Not even news that Hamas had beheaded Jewish babies was enough to shake Greens support.
ACT Chief Minister Andrew Barr refused to criticise the Greens, saying …
“I don’t think this is an issue in which people should be taking sides.”
Women raped. Children slaughtered. Babies beheaded. And Mr Barr doesn’t want us to take sides.
This man governs Australians. Think about that!
Mr Barr, if you refuse to take a side in a battle between good and evil, you’ve taken a side!
But I suspect Mr Barr already knows that.
Greens leader Adam Bandt, pressed to defend is NSW and ACT counterparts, put out this statement …
“This war has brought pain and grief to so many, and there is no place to worsen that through hateful and violent racism and bigotry, including anti-Semitism and Islamophobia.”
Typical. Jews are beheaded by Muslim extremists and the Greens warn about Islamophobia.
Protestors, encouraged by the Greens, march through Sydney yelling “gas the Jews” and the Greens worry people might think bad things about Muslims.
Honestly, Jews are the only people in the world who can be stabbed to death and the political elite’s first concern is for the reputation of the guy holding the knife.
Bandt added …
“For there to be a lasting peace there must be an end to the State of Israel‘s illegal occupation of the Palestinian territories.”
Someone needs to ask Mr Bandt how it is that you make peace with people who only ever stop chanting for you to be wiped off the map long enough to rape your women, incinerate your families and behead your babies.
Disingenuous ACT Greens Leader Shane Rattenbury attempted to defend her party’s promotion of the pro-Hamas rally by insisting promotion did not mean endorsement.
“We support people’s democratic right to peaceful protest,” she said.
Of course. That’s why the Greens were promoting freedom rallies during the pandemic lockdowns. Oh wait …
The Greens have gone from tree huggers to terrorist huggers. Tell me I’m wrong.
Do the naïve supporters of the Greens yet begin to see what their party is like? Even now? Is it registering yet?
Just on that, how can one country be so fortunate as to have politicians the calibre of Andrew Barr, Chris Bown, Tony Burke, Anthony Albanese, Adam Bandt, Mehreen Faruqi … just unlucky I guess.
A few months ago I answered the front door to a Greens supporter who was canvassing the area to get ideas of what people thought of the Greens. I answered pleasantly that I always placed them last on the voting ticket, and then closed the door, not before seeing the stunned look on her face. A moment to treasure!
What these Hamas terrorists are doing is beyond words, raping, chopping peoples heads off, killing, burning people alive. How can any decent person not condemn these barbaric killings. Shows the Greens mindset, utter wickedness.
