A UN study has found Papua New Guinea could have a population of 17 million – almost double the official estimate!
If true, it means all currently accepted living standard measures would be slashed.
PNG’s per capita income would dive from $3230 to about $1770 a year – putting Australia’s closest neighbour on par with African states such as Sudan and Senegal.
The number of people per doctor would go from 10,000 to 20,000 . And the number of people per nurse from 2000 to 4000.
Overnight, PNG would become one of the poorest nations on earth.
But is this really bad news? Perhaps, rather than concern, there is cause for elation.
If the new population numbers are correct, PNG's per capita carbon emissions would be almost halved overnight.
Imagine the applause they will receive in the UAE at COP28 next year!
Wow.
The UN must use the same counting system as team Biden did in 2020.
So we are hypothetically increasing population numbers to statistically reduce the carbon levels per capita based on a simple ratio calculation and what about the global carbon dioxide levels?..,well that short hand maths increases the global levels dummies! There is no celebration their! but who cares this is political stunt based on data which can be skewed by fudging the parameters.then the variables and then the results and conclusions.....whalaaa presto we have a reason to pay reparations and we have a reason to stop coal burning and another reason to send energy prices through the roof...this would be great fodder for a comedy skit but it’s deadly serious! This pantomime is gonna send us all to the dark ages literary! Anyone got a light??
