The End of Yourself is the Beginning of God

Exodus 3v11-12

Exodus 3v11-12

But Moses said to God, “Who am I that I should go to Pharaoh and bring the Israelites out of Egypt?”

And God said, “I will be with you.”

I’m not sure Moses would have responded that way if God had appeared to him 40 years earlier.

Forty years prior, Moses probably felt eminently qualified to go to Pharaoh and bring the Israelites out of Egypt.
