The Curious Reporting of Scarlett Blake
Taking a pro-trans position is one thing. Deliberately covering up crimes committed by trans people is something else
The crime was shocking, but so too was the way in which the news media reported it.
Let’s start with the crime because, perversely, the crime was easier to understand than the news coverage.
A man identifying as a woman (and sometimes as a cat) beat a complete stranger over the head before drowning him in a river.
The murder apparently gave Scarlet Blake a sexual high.
Scarlet, who a court heard had previously gotten off by filming himself killing a cat in a blender, has been sentenced to 24 years in jail.
