The Coalition Need to Grow Some Kahunas, and Fast

If Senator Hume and her Coalition buddies are too afraid to say there are two genders, should they really be trusted to lead the country?

Our federal politicians continue to avoid stating the obvious - that there are only two genders.

Liberal Senator Jane Hume was asked this morning on the Today Show whether or not she shared Donald Trump’s view that there are only two genders.

Let that sink in. That’s the question plaguing our politicians right now.

If that’s not bad enough, consider how Senator Hume answered it. Or rather, tried desperately hard not to answer it.

The answer, of course, is easy.

The answer is ‘Yes, I agree with Trump that there are two genders - male and female’.

And if I was a politician, I would then immediately ask the journalist how many genders she believed there to be. But that’s just me. I’m annoying like that.

I digress.

Do you think Senator Hume could bring herself to state the bleeding obvious? Do you think Senator Hume could articulate a simple biological fact?

Not a chance.

She ducked and she weaved …
