The Church of England has decided to embrace apostasy on “on a trial basis”.

Its leadership voted this week to hold special “blessing” services for gay couples.

The church was at pains to point out that these “services” - which will include an exchange of rings, prayers, confetti and a blessing from the priest - were not weddings!

Sure. And the Pope’s not Catholic. (Forgive me for mixing my denominations, but you get the point)

Anyway, didn’t Solomon write something in Proverbs about a frog in boiling water?

Progressivism is never temporary. A “trial basis” should fool no-one.

The vote was interesting, and so too was the timing, coming as it does amidst a global Islamic flex.
