The ABC's Renewed Commitment to Diversity

... as a way of disguising it's uniformity of thought

The ABC’s chief content officer has told staff that diversity must be a priority at the taxpayer-funded national broadcaster.

Chris Oliver-Taylor wrote to staff yesterday saying …

“It’s an absolute priority for us to ensure that our workforce and content reflects modern Australia.

He warned …

“The reality is, we don’t have enough colleagues that come from a diverse background joining the ABC, and we need to deliberately make that happen.”

I’m not sure that Chris is ticking a lot of diversity boxes.

Isn’t he what the diversity cult love to call pale, stale and male?

Surely the ABC could find a bisexual woman of colour with ADHD and a cleft pallet to do his job.

The ABC is right to be concerned. There will be no diversity at the ABC until journalists of every shade are presenting news from a far left-leaning perspective.

How can the taxpayer funded ABC represent the broader community while so many Leftist hosts have pale faces?

And it is difficult to defend the ABC against charges of political bias when everyone pushing the collectivist point of view is fair-skinned.

If the ABC is to provide balanced reporting, as its charter demands, then everyone promoting the same socialist agenda cannot be of white European descent.

Where are the brown-skinned Marxists?
