The Victorian Labor Party is afraid of its own followers
The Victorian Labor Government has closed parliament’s public gallery after repeated interruptions from pro-Palestinian supporters.
The irony on this one is thick.
If you’re a fee-paying university student, the government won’t do a thing to assist you getting an education without harassment from Hamas loving thugs.
If you’re a rent-paying shop keeper in Melbourne’s CBD, the government won’t to a thing to assist you trading without interruption from weekly anti-Israel hate parades.
But the Victorian government is happy to suspend democratic norms the moment they are inconvenienced by the mob.
