Sniff of Scandal in the White House

And the cocaine belongs to ...

Secret Service officials have said the person who brought cocaine into the White House is unlikely to be found.

The White House was shut down during the week after a white substance, later found to be cocaine, was found in what they described with a straight face as a “highly trafficked area of the West Wing”.

The sniff of scandal left media snorting with derision since the President’s son, Hunter, is a well known cocaine addict.

Was Hunter in the powder room again?

A blow-by-blow account of Hunter’s movements would be helpful.

I half expected White House spokesperson Karine Jean-Pierre to tell reporters that White House sniffer dogs are now all in rehab.

Instead she said …

“Let’s let the Secret Service do their job, which we believe and have all the confidence that they will get to the bottom of this episode.”

I’m pretty sure they will find the cocaine originated in a Wuhan wet market.

Or maybe it was dropped by a bat.

Either way, White House officials will produce a long line, if you will, of excuses, none of which have anything to do with the President’s son.

If this were a Republican president who had a son with a proven history of drug use (like snorting lines off naked prostitutes for example), the media would be accusing him 24/7 for weeks.

But not with this president.

A bit of nose candy in the West Wing is nothing to sneeze at, and yet it will be dismissed as barely a nosebleed in Biden’s administration.

Vegas betting agency, Sportsbetting, are listing Hunter Biden as an unbackable 2-1 favourite as the person responsible.

Assorted long-shots include heiress Paris Hilton at 33-to-1 odds. First lady Jill Biden and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi are both tied at 100-to-1,

Odds that the Big Guy will turn out to also be the Big C are 150-to-1. And at those odds, it’s probably worth a, um, crack.

The Biden clown show still has 18 months to run, but I suspect this is it’s high point
