I wrote this piece for Sky News on Shaquille O’Neal being enlisted to help sell the referendum on the Indigenous voice to Parliament.
I mean, you have to laugh don’t you?

This stunt by our illustrious very small PM is not only pathetic, it’s farcical. Albo is acting like a giggling star struck school girl. No disrespect intended to the taller guy, but I couldn’t help thinking they looked like CS Lewis’ tragedian and dwarf in ‘The Great Divorce’. I wish Albo would disappear so we could have a real statesman leading us although I have no idea where that person would come from, sadly. And Albo now grins perpetually, far more than Morrison ever did. We’re being ‘led’ by buffoons :(
Albo’s reason for having The Shaq championing his cause is so wishy washy that it is plain embarrassing for any thinking Australian. What does ‘bringing people together’ actually mean in terms of the Constitution? It’s a nothing completely meaningless statement not expounded by anything factual or relevant. If it weren’t for your life saving humour, James, one just could be tempted to despair.
Thanks again for presenting the monumental stupidity of these people in a way that we get all the information we need but with your unique and wonderful sense of humour, James!
Goodness, it's getting more ridiculous by every news flash... why does the government not ask some of our hard working, grass roots indigenous people so we can hear their voiced opinions? They would have a bit to say about this topic I reckon, being on Australia's pulse because they actually live here... but maybe the government does not want to hear their opinions... hence they import a famous person to deflect the topic?
