LONG haul flights do not spread the Covid. But watch out if you’re on a short trip!
How else to understand mask mandates that apply to domestic air travel but no longer to international flights?
QANTAS announced this week that passengers and crew would not need to wear masks when travelling to the US, Rome and the UK.
But if you’re flying between Melbourne and Sydney - mask up man - the Covid can still getcha!
Changes to international routes only apply one way, of course. While you don’t need a mask travelling from Sydney to LA, you will require one for the return journey. Apparently the Covid isn’t too fussy about going to America, but really wants to come to Australia.
THE Victorian Government announced this week that unvaccinated teachers would be able to return to the class room.
The decision comes just two months after they sacked 240 teachers who had refused to get the jab. Those teachers will not be reinstated.
So a bunch of people got jabbed to keep their jobs, only to find that they didn’t really need to get needled after all.
And another bunch of people lost their jobs for not getting jabbed, when they could have kept their jobs after all.
Oh well.
A school principal told The Age newspaper he had no sympathy for teachers angry at having been forced into vaccination.
“You have to be professional and you move on as though nothing happened,” he said
That’s right, nothing to see here folks. Just a bit of state-mandated medical meddling. No big deal. And they reckon your myocarditis will clear up eventually. Along with your Bells Palsy.
“Move on as though nothing happened.”
Except something did happen. The government - cheered by a bunch of self important bureaucrats and sneezy bed wetters - trashed civil freedoms, destroyed livelihoods and stole two years of our children’s lives.
They should never be forgiven.
PARENTS at Sydney’s St Catherine’s School are furious that their new principal must sign a statement affirming belief in traditional marriage.
Parents are urging their Anglican diocese to scrap opposition to gay marriage.
They describe the church’s doctrine as offensive to same-sex families who attend the school, and in contravention of the school’s values of inclusion.
I would have thought that if same-sex families are allowed to attend the school - despite the school’s stance against same-sex marriage - that was pretty inclusive!
And wouldn’t you expect, if the Bible is true as opposed to popular culture, that it is going to offend everyone on some level?
But like so many Woketards, these parents want agreement rather than acceptance.
A spokesperson for The Love Group (yes, that’s what the parents have called themselves) told The Australian:
“No 1 issue is that it’s asserting that the law of the land is wrong and same-sex families are unacceptable when I think schools have a moral duty of care to our children.”
It’s hard to believe parents who send their children to a $37,000 a year school construct sentences like that. But I digress.
Imagine a church asserting that God’s law is higher than the law of the land. Like, that’s never happened before …

The Apostles would have been sooo busted by The Love Group!
Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego wouldn’t have been popular with the St Catherine’s parents either …

As for the school “asserting that same-sex families are unacceptable”, that’s simply not true. The school have not said gay families are unacceptable. They have simply said that, as Christians, they don’t condone gay marriage.
But again, Woketards want agreement rather than acceptance, and approval rather than tolerance.
The Love Group (insert eye roll here) continued with their clunky statement …
“The head signing this statement is something that is not wanted; the majority of our parents are opposed to it as it does not align with our school community’s expectations.”
Why the Anglican Church does not decide Christian doctrine by majority vote of parents is beyond me.
And if the Apostle Paul had simply consulted The Love Group to ascertain “school community expectations” before he went and wrote Romans 1, we wouldn’t be having this problem.
I bet The Love Group have their parent meetings at the local Chinese restaurant and spend the whole night bitching that there’s no French food on the menu.
PRESIDENT Joe Biden inadvertently held his staff supplied ‘cheat sheet’ the wrong way, and a press photographer snapped it.
A couple of thoughts …
The first instruction should have been “YOU hold YOUR cheat sheet the RIGHT way”.
Second, a cheat sheet featuring policy talking points equals normal. But a cheat sheet telling you ‘enter room’ and ‘say hello’ and ‘take your seat’ … well that equals senile.
Obama famously told colleagues …
“Don't underestimate Joe's ability to f... things up."
Even the cheat sheet, evidently.
A MILWAUKEE Public School counsellor is being investigated for “immoral conduct”.
Her crime? Speaking out about the harms of transgender ideology on children.
Marissa Darlingh, speaking on her own time at a feminist rally, said:
“No a single one of my students under my f#$king watch will ever transition socially and sure as hell not medically. Absolutely not. I exist in this world to serve children. I exist to protect children. F#$k transgenderism. F@#k these people who want children to have unfettered access to hormones - wrong sex hormones - and surgery”
It’s a little bit sweary, but hey, she was at a feminist rally.
Anyway, Darlingh has been placed on leave.
School authorities are deciding whether to revoke her teaching license.
Trans activists have vandalised the path outside her house with “Protect kids from Marissa” slogans.
All that remains is for her to be sent to the Gender Fluid Re-Education Gulag.
Darlingh issued a statement saying:
“My views on the harms of gender ideology to children are informed by a desire to serve and protect children. That’s why I got into education. I will love and serve every child under my care, no matter what. But I won’t recant under threat from the state.”
Good on her.
Teachers who speak against the gender goblins are increasingly being threatened in America.
In July of 2021, Oregon educators Rachel Damiano and Katie Medart were fired for their work on a campaign against gender ideology. The decision was later reversed, and their court case is pending in the Oregon Supreme Court.
In September of 2021, felony hate crime charges were brought against feminist activist Thistle Pettersen who was accused of placing anti-gender stickers in downtown Madison. The charges were promptly dismissed on free speech grounds.
Lawyer representing Darlingh, Luke Berg, said school districts were using threats to try to scare teachers into keeping quiet about transgenderism.
“The state is, quite simply, trying to punish a public-school counselor for her views on gender ideology,” he said.
THE Sydney Morning Herald ran a story this week about transgendered athletes fighting for inclusion in women’s sports.
By inclusion they really mean invasion, but I digress.
The story features mediocre sportsmen who now identify as women demanding the right to compete in elite women’s sport.
It begs the question … why aren’t there a whole bunch of mediocre sportswomen who now identify as men demanding the right to compete in elite men’s sport?
Hmmm. Such a mystery!
