For proof, look no further than the Rotten Tomatoes rankings for comedian Ricky Gervais’ latest Netflix comedy SuperNature.
If you haven’t seen it, Gervais jokes about how great the “new women” are, “the ones with beards and cocks”, compared with those “dinosaur women – you know the ones with wombs”.
Critics have blasted him for so-called transphobia and given him just a 31% approval rating.
But the public have given it a 91% positive score.

Statistically, the season of life that manifests the highest risk of suicide and self harm is after so-called ‘gender affirming care’.
The most thorough follow-up of sex-reassigned people - a 30 year study in Sweden -showed that, 15 years after surgical reassignment, the suicide rate of those who had undergone a sex change rose to 20 times that of comparable peers.
Instead of asking why so many trans teens are suicidal, we should be asking why so many suicidal teens identify as trans.
Could it be that identifying as transgender offers a tangible solution? Instead of doing the hard work of finding and dealing with the root of one’s misery, teens are promised that something can be done to them that will make them happy like they’ve never been before.

So many great stories this week not sure which is best. Guess it has to be Jelena. Still not that keen on her hubby (though as the ANTI-VAXXER poster boy I like him a lot more) but she is a bloody winner. What ball control, what ground strokes and that final winning lob.
