Your weekend inoculation against the Woke virus

The Democrats are victims of their own Diversity, Equity and Inclusion fetish.

Their commitment to DEI saw them appoint Kamala Harris as Vice President because she was a black female.

If the Democrats had more than an empty symbol for a VP, they’d know exactly what to do with the rapidly ailing Joe Biden.

But you cannot replace Confusion-in-Chief with Giggles-in-Chief. And so the Democrats, and as a result the United States, are stuck with an old man in the early stages of dementia as their leader.

Diversity, equity and inclusion is not noble, desirable or clever. It is highly discriminatory and it recruits incompetence.

DEI is not only destructive, but self-destructive.

Whenever you see a government, corporation or church advertising their commitment to the unholy trinity of DEI … run!

Let me give you an alternative take on Harris.

Perhaps she was chosen precisely because she is hopelessly inept.

She is an insurance policy in the event that anyone ever suggested the 25th Amendment should be exercised.

While on the subject of Biden’s dementia, would you really be surprised if you woke tomorrow to find that the Democrats were defending Biden in these terms …

“Yes Joe Biden ha dementia, and we believe that’s what makes him such an important figure. Providing representation in public office to dementia sufferers matter.”

It’s ridiculous, of course. And yet it’s exactly what you’d expect hear.

Within 20 years of Dawkins ‘disproving’ God, his beloved secularists are now worshipping at the DEI shrine, using made-up pronouns as religious mantras, and firing people for saying men cant get pregnant

As Chesterton said, it's not that the atheist believes in nothing, it's that he can believe in anything.

I do suspect that, somewhere deep inside, Dawkins believes in God now.

Video emerged this week of Nationals MP Barnaby Joyce laying on the footpath while ranting into his mobile phone.

It wasn’t his finest moment.

ABC commentator Jane Caro was quick to comment.

She tweeted:

“No female political, no indigenous politician, could survive a video like this. That’s what white male privilege gets you - indulgence for your mistakes.

Right. So, apparently, Lidia Thorpe is a privileged white man …

One of the most revealing aspects of modern culture is its embrace of the word ‘Pride’.

The LGBTQ have given us (or should that be foisted upon us?) Pride Month, Pride marches and Pride flags.

It begs the question, pride in what, exactly?

If sexual orientation is not a choice, and therefore nothing to be ashamed of, then it is nothing to be proud of either.

Taking pride in what is not an achievement seems silly at best, self-congratulatory and arrogant at worst.

It is an invitation to poor behaviour, since it justifies in advance whatever follows.

Canadian police are not sure whether the alleged rapist they are hunting is male or female.

CTV footage shows that 6-foot-tall offender looks like a female. Kind of.

But the victim reported that the offender had a penis. And the offender’s semen was found at the crime scene.

So, we have someone who looks female but has a penis and leaves a trail of semen. It’s all very confusing. Quite a conundrum.

Vancouver police are urging the public to help them find the suspect but are being careful not to use pronouns in the description.

When asked if the offender was a man or a woman, Constable Amanda Steed told reporters …

“We don’t know. The video evidence shows someone who would appear female, who is female presenting, but the physical evidence is that of a genetic male. The suspect we believe does have a penis.”

Hmmm. It’s not much to go on.

Steed added …

“The video shows someone who appears to be female presenting, so that’s why we left the gender out. Because we weren’t really sure how this person identifies - we didn’t want to get it wrong.”

Ah yes, the only thing worse than failing to apprehend a rapist is misgendering a rapist.

Much better to have rapists roaming the streets of Trancouver than to have mis-gendered rapists behind bars.
