
The luxury of time and money is affording young people the opportunity to engage in endless navel gazing - no wonder so many are coming out as trans.
That’s the conclusion of Sascha Bailey, son of a famous fashion photographer and model, who very nearly had a sex change himself.
Sascha was on the verge of becoming just another in the long, long conga-line of Hollywood kids switching gender, before changing his mind.
He was convinced he had been “born in the wrong body”, had changed his name to from Sascha to Sacha and was preparing to take hormone treatment in a bid to become a woman after a gender clinic consultation that took less than ten minutes.
He later told The Independent …
“Everyone saw that it was maybe wrong for me but didn’t want to say something.”
I’ve heard people who work with detransitioners say they constantly hear two things:
First, that no-one could have dissuaded them from transitioning.
And second, that they wish someone had of dissuaded them from transitioning.
Selah.
But back to Sascha who met and fell in love with Lucy Brown just before he was to commence medical treatment to change sex.
When Sascha explained to Lucy his reasons for wanting to transition, she “started laughing”.
And the gender dysphoria spell, as it were, was instantly broken.
