PM Should Reconsider His Position After Flawed Referendum
Prime Minister Anthony Albanese should resign.
This is a generous invitation extended with humility, grace and optimism for the future to which he should say ‘Yes’.
If not now, when?
Or to borrow another of the PM’s favourite lines, his resignation gives us everything to gain, and nothing to lose.
Mr Albanese told Australians last night that, with the referendum lost, “we must seek a new way forward”.
I agree. And with a new leader.
A Prime Minister who drags the nation through an estimated $450m race-based referendum, and loses badly, should be seriously considering his position.

I couldn't agree more James. Albanese divided the country in an attempt to gain a personal legacy. Does he only love the aboriginal people who supported his wicked scheme? There was certainly no love to aboriginal leaders like Jacinta Nampijimpa Price in senate this week. No love to the children being abused in remote communities. You can't pick and choose Albo, you either love all Australians or you don't. Time to go along with the incompetent Linda Burney.
Agree. This was an expensive ill-conceived and unprincipled attempt to manipulate the Australian people, using his high office together with that of the parliament. Forget the tears and dust pictures. It’s more than woke - it’s downright deceit. Albo - please leave, and take the wokies with you.
