NSW Gender Confusion Continues ...
Minister for Women Can’t Define Women, Premier Defines Them by Context
NSW Minister for Women Jodie Harrison has refused to say what a woman is.
Which is awkward. The word “women” is not buried in the fine print of her job description. It is the job description.
Meanwhile, NSW Premier Chris Minns says men can change their birth certificates to become women … but that doesn’t mean they should be free to play women’s sport, or be housed in women’s prisons.
Which does seem a little illogical.
Let’s start with Harrison, the woman who represents women while claiming to be completely clueless as to what a woman is.
When asked to define the category of people she is paid to represent, Harrison responded as though she’d been asked to split the atom using only a butter knife and a copy of the Anti-Discrimination Act.
Harrison told journalists …
“As this matter may be subject to further legal processes, it would not be appropriate to comment on the specifics of the case.”
She addd that …
“ … questions about the legal framework are ultimately matters for the federal government.”
So the NSW Minister for Women would have us believe she needs a judge, or a member of the federal government, to tell her what a woman is.
And she dares not pre-empt what they say because, that guessing as to what a woman might be would be be inappropriate.
Translation: I know exactly what a woman is, but saying so aloud in 2026 carries the same occupational risk as juggling chainsaws over a shark tank.
But then, the Minister for Women moved to reassure the state’s 4 million women that she was committed to protecting them, despite not being able to say for sure who was or wasn’t a woman.
I almost fell over when she began with …
“The NSW government’s position is clear …
It takes a special kind of stupid to insist that you can’t say for sure what a woman is and that your position is clear.
We’ll let her continue just for laughs …
