Like him or loath him, Dan Andrews is quite the politician
The Daniel Andrews government has paid $1.5 billion not to do things.
The Victorian Premier announced at the weekend that taxpayers would be slugged $380 million for cancelling the 2026 Commonwealth Games.
This is on top of the $1.1 billion taxpayers lost when the Andrews government came to office and tore up a contract for the East West Link road.
One and half billion dollars spent on nothing at all is quite the achievement.
Victorians have now paid for a road that doesn’t exist, and for an international sporting event that was never held.
For the life of me, I can’t work out why Victoria is dead broke!

I am forever amazed that the Sky commentators even Cory Bernardi admire this dark, deceptive, cruel and ruthless man. There is nothing to admire about Daniel Andrews. It seems likely he ran over a 13 year old and ruined his life, put his whole state under house arrest and spends other people’s money on his vanity projects. There is no universe where $380 billion is a saving, not to mention the $1 billion dollars on the east west.
The man makes me sick 🤢 every time I don’t mute him. Stalin would admire Andrews. Why was Andrews voted in again? - oh yes there is no opposition- except the Libertarians. Anyone listening to Moira Deeming at CPAC would see that she and Jacinta Price are leaders in the making. Prosciutto is a sad little man who needs to ride off into the sunset and let the grown up do the job.
