Welcome to our latest episode of ‘You Can’t Make This Stuff Up’.
Remember how citizens who dared to protest Canada’s vaccine mandates during the pandemic were derided by their own MPs as Nazis?
Well, at the weekend, those same MPs gave an actual Nazi a standing ovation.
Yep, it’s another day in Clown World!
The Canadian Parliament was playing host to the Ukrainian saint, President Volodymyr Zelesneky, on Friday when the Speaker of the House Anthony Rota decided to make a grand gesture.
He advised the packed chamber that sitting in the public gallery was a World War Two veteran who, just like Saint Z, had fought the Russians.
"We have here in the chamber today a Ukrainian Canadian veteran from the 2nd World War who fought for Ukrainian Independence against the Russians. He is a Ukrainian hero, a Canadian hero, and we thank him for all his service,” Rota said.
Parliamentarians leapt to their feet and clapped in thunderous applause for 98-year-old Yarsolav Hunka, as Fuhrer Trudeau beamed with pride
But hang on a second. You say old man Hunka was fighting the Russians in World War Two?
Weren’t the Russians our allies in World War Two?
It says a lot about the current education system that not one of Canada’s politicians was able to add two and two.
The keywords were "... a soldier in World War Two who fought against the Russians”.
A little more attention to history rather than to empty virtue signalling might have helped here.
If Hunka was fighting Russians in World War Two, then he was fighting for the Germans!
Heil Hitler, that’s right!
Hunka was a Nazi. And not the regular Canadian voter who doesn’t like his government kind of Nazi. Hunka was an actual Nazi.
Achtung baby!
After all the ‘you’re a Nazi’ talk coming from elites over the past few years, I did Nazi this happening.
Of course, none of this dawned on the fawning Canadian MPs who, by now, had given the SS solider who served in a Nazi division directly involved in the extermination of Jews, not one but two standing ovations.
They do love their Nazis in Canada. Where’s ANTIFA when you really need them?
To make matters worse, all of this Nazi clapping happened on the eve of the Jews’ holiest holiday, Yon Kippur.
Like I said, you can’t make this stuff up.
Mr Rota, a member of Justin Trudeau’s Liberal Party, only realised his mistake when someone who had studied history prior to it being swapped out for gender studies whispered in his ear.
Rota extended his deepest apologies “to Jewish communities in Canada and around the world”.
“I wish to make clear that no one, including fellow parliamentarians and Ukraine delegation, was aware of my intention or of my remarks before I delivered them,” he said.
So, honoring Nazis is evidently more of a spontaneous thing than a premeditated thing in Canada. Good to know.
It’s a wonder Canadian MPs didn’t burst into a spontaneous rendition of the Horst-Wessel-Lied.
Canada’s elites didn’t bother with research, or even a Google search, lest it disturb their world view. So eager were they to scramble to the top of the moral high ground that they forgot to check details.
The Western world has become a parody of itself at this point. Not even Monty Python could have possibly predicted the depths to which we have stooped. And we are still digging.
Everywhere thoughtful politicians have been replaced by performing seals.
What will it take for the men of the Western world, if indeed there are any left who haven’t already transitioned, to say enough is enough?
The satirists certainly are having a harder job creating satire these days, there's so much of it going on with those running this circus. I mean, between not knowing what a real woman is and not knowing what a real nazi is, the world is literally becoming one ongoing, monumental Monty Python sketch.
A side issue- the popular educational agenda to ignore history in favour of gender studies means we don’t learn from past mistakes.
