The Guardian has announced it will no longer be posting news on Twitter.
In an announcement to readers, the news organisation said it considered the benefits of being on Twitter were now outweighed by the negatives, citing the “often disturbing content” found on it.
Can I make an observation?
Perhaps those at The Guardian would be less disturbed by content on Twitter if they stopped reading the disturbing content from The Guardian Twitter account.
Here’s a sample
Well, there is no doubt that Twitter will have far less “disturbing content” now that The Guardian is boycotting the platform!
But I’m really not sure how those of us still on Twitter will cope with their loss.
Stay strong my friends. Stay strong.
This is what's traditionally known as the garbage taking itself out.
I suggest the Guardian editors read your Substack. They may discover what’s really reportable in the world instead of publishing that garbage!
