If we were to award a gold medal for media bias against Israel, CBS News would win it in a crowded field.
Senior director of standards and practices at CBS News, Mark Memmott, sent an email to all employees recently, reminding them to “be careful with some terms when we talk or write about the news” from Israel and Gaza.
One of the words on Memmott’s list of terms that demanded “care” was Jerusalem.
Of Jerusalem, Memmott wrote:
“Do not refer to it as being in Israel.”
Should we stop referring to CBS journalists as journalists?
The CBS News "director of standards" officially denies reality. Where else is Jerusalem located, pray tell? New Jersey?
Seems a very strange "standard" …
Acknowledging the competing claims over Jerusalem is one thing. But for a news organisation to pretend that Jerusalem is not in Israel is completely insane.
If Jerusalem is not in Israel, then the Israeli Knesset is not in Israel.
And the Israeli President doesn’t live in Israel.
And the American embassy in Israel is not in Israel.
And the Jewish Temple Mount is not in Israel.
And Jesus Christ was crucified someplace other than in Israel.
CBS management have effectively said …. ‘Sure the United States government recognizes Jerusalem as the Capital of Israel, but we don't agree, and so we will impose our beliefs on the American public anyway.’
As I always say, Jew hatred makes you stupid.
What will CBS' Ministry of Truth have for us next?!?
A Trump victory is needed to help save this planet or we’re done. Then we need Dutton in the lodge after a fumigation to rid the language of critical race theory bibble babble.
“Should we stop referring to CBS journalists as journalists”. Gold 👍!
