Joe Biden pardon's Hunter after promising he would not. But, of course, that's not the story ...

Joe Biden has sensationally pardoned his son Hunter of all crimes.

He did this after continually insisting that “no-one is above the law”

… and after repeatedly promising that he would accept the court’s decision on Hunter’s crimes, and not pardon him.

Well all of that is memory-holed now.

Because today Biden announced he would indeed pardon his son.

And here’s the headline Politico went with …

“Republicans pounce on Biden pardoning his son, Hunter”

Only in Washington DC can a Democratic president pardoning his own son be less scandalous than Republicans reacting to it.

Credit where credit is due, though. It only took Politico two hours to make Republicans the story.

The pardon issued to Hunter Biden is not just for the gun and tax evasion charges for which he was found guilty.

Joe Biden has pardoned his son for any and all crimes he may have committed over a ten year period.

Hmmm. I wonder why that would be. Sounds kinda suss.

Obviously it is to ensure that nothing Hunter did as his father’s bag man - collecting money for access to Joe Biden when his Joe was Vice President to Obama - can be used against the family.

So convenient.

Joe Biden loves his son. And he loves himself even more.

But back to my point …

The only story in all of this for Politico is that Republicans are mean, nasty, opportunists. Pouncing on the poor old man as he tries to do the fatherly thing.

It’s amazing.

Every time Joe Biden exposes his corruption, the media will still have his back.

Even now.
