Politico refuses to let death and destruction go to waste

Politico magazine managed to find a silver lining in the dark clouds of Hurricane Helene.

Um, could Politico try a little harder not to sound so excited?

Imagine enthusing that Hurricane Helene might prevent Trump supporters from voting, even as authorities were still pulling bodies out of houses and mudslides.

The progressive media was literally rejoicing that Republicans couldn’t vote because their houses were floating away along with their loved ones.

Politico had moved on from the death toll - even as it was still rising - to encourage their Democratic Party friends about how the death and destruction might affect voter turnout for their opponent.

Would it be too much to ask the left wing media to start reporting on what is actually happening to those poor people devastated by the Hurricane, rather than enthusing about how it might impact the election?
