Kamala Harris - the Racial Opportunist
White skin? Black skin? Brown skin? Thank God Trump has Thick Skin.
It’s amazing how Democrats manipulate reality to fit whatever narrative is most convenient.
When seeking LGBTQ votes, they cannot say for sure what a woman is. After all, most of us are not biologists!
But when their presidential candidate is Kamala Harris, they cannot hold enough ‘Women for Kamala Harris’ campaign events.
And when talking to the Indian community, Kamala Harris is excited by the prospect of becoming the first South East Asian president of the United States.
But when talking to the African American community, Harris is excited by the prospect of becoming the first female black President of the United States.
When talking to the Indian community, Harris reminisces fondly about Indian food. And when talking to the African American community, Harris puts on a black accent that Obama would be proud of.
Harris has no policies, no record of achievement and no ideas of her own. Like the Democrats, she seems committed to power in and of itself.
So what else does she have to claim beyond being a woman, when it’s convienint to know what one is. And beyond being Indian, or black, depending on the colour of the audience.
But having talked about nothing but gender and race from morning to night, Harris is then outraged if her opponent talks about gender, or race.
Donald Trump was asked if he believed Kamala Harris was “only on the ticket because she’s a black woman”, to which Trump replied …
“I’ve known her a long time indirectly.
“And she was always of Indian heritage. And she was only promoting Indian heritage.
“I didn’t know she was black, until a number of years ago when she happened to turn black, and now she wants to be known as black. So I don’t know. Is she Indian or is she black.
“I respect wither one but obviously she obviously doesn't because she was Indian all the way and then all of a suddenly she made a turn and she became a black person. And I think someone should look into that.”
Cue outrage!
Harris slammed Trump for being divisive and disrespectful.
But was he?
Trump was pointing out, in response to a question I might add, that Kamala Harris made much about becoming the first Indian American senator in 2016 but eight years later is now making much of her attempt to become a black president of the United States.
She's a chameleon, by which I mean a racial opportunist.
But, of course, if you point this out, well then you are the racist.
Progressives create a nation of tribes in order to create niche constituencies and then accuse anyone who points it out as being divisive.
Kamala’s skin colour was not lost on Joe Biden when he nominated her as his VP. He said at the time ...
“All across this nation little girls woke up – especially little Black and Brown girls who so often may feel overlooked and undervalued in our society — but today, maybe they're seeing themselves for the first time in a new way. As the stuff of Presidents and Vice Presidents.”
I write this as someone who has two much loved black sons. But as I told them when they were growing up, the colour of their skin is the least interesting thing about them. Far more interesting is their character, their interests, their gifts and their ideas.
Trump didn’t attack Kamala Harris’ race. He attacked her cheap race baiting.
I’m convinced that one of the reason racism persists is because progressives see value in keeping it alive.
Since Harris became the presumptive nominee for President, her supporters have done little more than enthuse over the historic opportunity electing the first woman President, with the added bonus that she is black, ss if this somehow equals competency.
But clearly, to them, it’s all about identity.
And as a side hustle, they take continual pot shots at 'white men'.
Yet when Trump states that Harris seeks to leverage different ethnicities for different audiences in order to score a political advantage, he is somehow in the wrong.
The identity based society the Democrats seek to create will lead nowhere good.
Physical characteristics that not a single person has any control over are no substitute for meritocracy. Moreover, our common humanity is far more uniting than our skin colour, but Marxists don’t aim to unite.
Rather, they see race as the most useful way in which to divide us all into "oppressor" and "oppressed" categories that they can then leverage for control.
It’s a recipe for disaster.
Thank God Donald Trump has thick skin to call it out.
If Kamala goes to Brooklyn to campaign she might even be Jewish for the day
Just more leftist insanity, the world has gone to hell in a handbag.
Can’t wait for Trump to get back and straighten up the mess the US has become
