I’m absolutely loving the change to laugh my way through the end of the world with you all.

Hey, if we are doomed to live through the Last Days, we might as well do it with a wry grin and the occasional belly laugh. Right?

Let’s be honest - the further the world drifts from reality, the more hilarious it becomes.

But if you’re going to hold a newspaper in one hand, I think it’s really important to hold something life-giving in the other.

For me, it’s the Bible.

Every day - as has been my habit for longer than I can remember - I’ll read the Bible until a statement literally jumps out of the page at me.

Then I stop, and I write what I feel God says to me about it.

Now I know that might be a weird thought for some of you. But go with me on this.

I’ve grown up in church and yet continue to be surprised at the nuggets of gold I find in the pages of the Bible.

So starting today I have added a new section to The James Macpherson Report called Your Daily Reality Check.

Don’t freak out. It will only be sent to you if you choose to subscribe to it. And if you do, it doesn’t cost you any extra. It’s included in your existing subscription.

But I’d love the chance to share with you what I’ve been reading each day, and what I felt God speak to me.

Whether you're a Christian or not, I’m certain you’ll find it inspiring and helpful.

And who knows, it might even pique your interest to know more of the Bible.

Like I said, you won’t automatically get these daily notes sent to you. So if you hate God and want to spend eternity in hell - you’re completely safe :)
