President's pride party punts protocol for "Pride"

The Biden Administration has dismissed concerns that protocol was breached when they displayed a gay pride flag on the White House at the weekend.

The rainbow flag was hung front and centre from America’s hall of power, flanked on each side by the US flag.

This was clearly a breach of protocol which states that the US flag should be in the centre when a group of flags is displayed.

But when asked if anyone in the Biden administration noticed, or even cared about the breach, White House obfuscator in chief Karine Jean-Pierre had this to say …

“The adminisation was proud again to display the Pride Flag. It was an historic event at the White House. It centreered around the love and family. I think that’s important. We’re not going to let anyone distract us from that. I’m certainly not going to get into protocols from here. We’re proud of this historical event that we were able to put together here on the lawn for families. I’ve leave it there.”

Protocols. Pfffffft.

We’re not going to be distracted by protocols!

We’re too busy proudly displaying pride, which we’re proud to say was historic and we’re proud to say we take great pride in our historic pride. And we’re very proud of that because … well, families and love.

But did anyone in the White House notice that flag protocol had been breached?

The Biden Administration’s chief of protocol Ruffus Gifford might have noticed – that is his job - but then again, he had his back to the display … when proudly posing for pride selfies.

No … the Biden Administration is too proud to be distracted by protocol. Protocol is, afterall, sooo …. yesterday.

Ah, but protocol only mattered when Orange Man Bad was in the White House.

Proudly breaking US government protocol is okay when it’s all about love and family.

And, of course, nothing says we take pride in “love and family” like LGBTQ activists proudly getting their kit off on the White House lawn

Biden not only broke US flag protocol to proudly host the historic White House Pride event, he also broke an appointment to meet with the NATO General Secretary.

Now, to be clear, the Pride Event was on Saturday and the NATO meeting was on Monday.

But while Biden’s toothache was not so bad as to stop him proudly celebrating love and family with half naked, cavorting pride activists on Saturday, it was too sore for him to work out how to stop World War III on Monday.

Maybe they just told Joe Biden there’d be ice cream at the Pride Event

Or maybe Joe Biden thought the Gay Pride shin-dig was the NATO meeting

Biden told LGBTQ activists gathered on the White House lawns …

“You’re some of the bravest and most inspiring people I’ve ever known”

Nope. The inspiring people he met with were not Ukrainian soldiers bravely defending home and hearth, thought one of them was an inspiring transgendered strippers, bravely bearing his breasts.

But do we really care? Perhaps we should be thankful.

The world is probably safer if Biden sticks to Pride festivals.
