IF / THEN
Things I thunk while reading the news

IF …
March for Australia organisers continue to allow Neo-Nazis to take the platform and spruik anti-Jewish conspiracy theories as they did in Sydney yesterday ….
THEN …
I’ll continue to regard the marches as little better than the Invasion Day rallies they seek to oppose. Just more rat bags stirring shit.
That rally organisers allowed a bloke to have the microphone and tell the crowd …
“The Jews are the greatest enemy to this nation, they always have been, they are an enemy to Western civilisation, and for thousands of years Christians and Anglos, the white man has known that the Jew is our greatest enemy.”
… is outrageous.
I’m all for celebrating Australia and for cutting immigration … but I’m not for the reckless free-for-all encouraged by the March for Australia mob.
IF …
you want to know why debate in this country is so infantile …
THEN …
consider how Andrew Hastie was asked whether his participation in a citizenship ceremony today was inconsistent with his calls for immigration to be drastically reduced. What a stupid question. Calls for slashes to immigration are not calls for no immigration. How difficult is that for people to understand?
IF …
I partake in an anti-Islam protest on the street today, burn a quran and complain about terrorism - I'm committing a hate crime and will be arrested.
THEN …
how is it that if I partake in an anti-Australia protest on the street today, burn the national flag and complain about colonialism - no worries?
IF …
people at the Invasion Day Rally in Sydney were also protesting One Nation’s call for cuts to immigration …
THEN …
the cognative dissonance is off the charts, isn’t it? Always was, always will be Aboriginal land AND let millions of foreigners in. Talk about mixed messages!
IF …
police moved a woman on for waving an Australian Flag at an Invasion Day protest in Brisbane yesterday …
THEN …
it reminds me of police moving on people for waving Israel flags or for holding “Blame Hamas” signs at Pro-Palestine rallies.
Lazy policing.
And an indictment on the Invasion Day crowd. By removing the lone Australian Flag waver, police are effectively saying you’re not safe around this mob.
IF …
Assistant Minister to the Prime Minister Patrick Gorman reckons …
“The Australian national flag, the Aboriginal flag, and Torres Strait Islander flag should all be treated with the respect and dignity they deserve as the nation’s most important national symbols”
THEN …
I’m just trying to remember when we all agreed that the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander flags are on par with the Australian Flag as the nation’s most important symbols.
Can you remember agreeing to that?
IF …
Greens leader Larissa Waters reckons - and i’m quoting her -
“Recognising 26 January as a day of invasion is not about division, but about respect, honesty and connection.
”It is about acknowledging the truth that sovereignty was never ceded.
”This always was and always will be Aboriginal land.”
THEN …
I on what basis does she sit in the Senate receiving upwards of $200,000? By her logic, the Parliament is illegitimate.
Oh, and will she be handing back her Queensland property?
Of course not.
Larissa Waters is typical of the progressive left. People who enjoy the comfort of opinion without the discomfort of thought and certainly not of action.
IF …
My beloved North Melbourne Football Club are determined to take a position on Australia Day …
(They tweeted today their support for changing the date)
THEN …
Would to God they’d take a position in the top half of the ladder!
They’ve been glued to the bottom of the AFL ladder for five years. Can barely win a game of footy. To be exact, they’ve won 20 of their past 130 games.
But they have a stance on January 26.
Maybe check their priorities?
The club posted a statement saying …
North Melbourne's Board of Directors, CEO and senior leaders have reiterated their position regarding January 26 following extensive consultation with First Nations players and club staff.
The club has three Indigenous footballers. Three.
How extensive did the consultation need to be?
And what qualifies those three footy players to determine policy on Australia’s national day?
The club turned comments off on their social media post. Not so eager to hear the ‘consultation’ of supporters.
IF …
Anne Frank and her family were offered $3500 and plane tickets safely out of their attic …
THEN …
I’m sure they would have taken that deal!
So how is it that Minnesota Governor Tim Walz seriously compares illegal aliens hiding from ICE agents today to a Jewish girl hiding from Nazis during the Second World War?
Oh, and another thing … Anne Frank and her family weren’t foreign invaders. The people who arrested them were foreign invaders.
And one more …
Tim Walz was the guy who encouraged Minnesotans to dob on their neighbors during the pandemic. If Ann frank was his neighbor, he would have gladly turned her in.
the audacity of this guy - who could have been Vice President - is incredible.
IF …
The Minns Government is going to provide $4.5m in funding to provide shark sighting drones on 80 patrolled NSW beaches …
THEN ….
What about the other 50? After four shark attacks last week, you’d think he State Government would bite (excuse the pun) the bullet and ensure every beach where the red and yellow flags are present has drone surveillance.
As an added benefit, it might reduce drownings by providing extra incentive for people to swim between the flags.
IF …
South Australian engineering graduate Harrison Schuster was able to mow this piece of art into his grain paddock using a tractor …
THEN …
why is it that, after two weeks, I still can’t manage to create a love heart on the top of my latte when using our home coffee machine? Damn!

IF …
reports are true that the Iranian regime is stockpiling bodies to pull out in the event of a US attack so as to blame the US for a massive civilian death toll …
THEN …
there will be no shortage of dupes in the West willing to believe them. Look at how they have lapped up Hamas propaganda over the past two years.’

If a white Aussie burnt an aboriginal flag it would be a hate crime & lengthy jail time.
A lot to digest and take in. I like the field ploughed by the South Australian farmer
Unfortunately Nazi sympathizers insert themselves into these marches. In a march last year I had several of my relations all females (XX chromosomes ) of varying ages, marching for the cause and they said it was a family friendly party like atmosphere, but unfortunately Nazi or nazi sympathizers were mixing with the crowd.
Any Australian citizen burning the flag who is on any type of welfare should have that benefit stopped and any non citizen should be on the next plane back to where they came from.
All those who claim land never ceded should return any property owned to the local Aboriginal council plus pay rent for the time that property owned by them or their family.
Carlton and North Melbourne both basket cases.
