I went to my local council Australia day ceremony and awards last year. The only annoying bit was that every one of the 8 speach makers ALL started with a long acknowledgement of country.

The year before we were on holidays at the coast so attended a local council ceremony which ended with 2 very fat naked black men doing a smoking ceremony. This is to keep the evil spirits happy, ie is satanic so we got up and walked out. As a Christian I do not have to keep demons happy!

Just another earner for the blackfellas and I have to laugh at the semi white blokes with white paint on them waddling around with fifty thousand dollar beer guts clicking two sticks together .

You paint the picture perfectly.

A worthwhile book to read regarding the Islamic agenda is "End Times and the Secret of the Mahdi. Unlocking the Mystery of Revelation and the Antichrist."

By Michael Youssef.

Minns has just proved that he is just another labor hack, His "tough stance "on hate speech and demonstrations is a fizzer ,no one took any notice of his bullshit bans on the weekend .Yes arrest a man who disagrees with the rabble and pretend that their hate was nothing to worry about But oh yes ban guns from the most law abiding and regulated people in Australia ,put the taint of incipient terrorism on those very people ,strut ,swagger and expect to win the next election . There are more legitimate licenced shooters than there are muslims mate and I hope to see you looking for a new job sometime soon.

Thanks JM

We’re looking forward to hosting an Australia Day party on Monday. Our first one ever, doubt it’ll be our last.

We're having one too!!!!

Good Morning, Sir! You are in ripping form: a splendid way to start the week. I particularly enjoyed the nuanced prose of the Australian Palestinian Sympathizer's Statement on the recent brutality of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

James Macpherson's avatar

That one took so long to write! lol

" 76 percent of Australians say they support Australia Day being celebrated on January 26". Not often I get to type it these days: 'makes me proud to be an Australian'.

Thank you, James, I always learn something from your articles. Yes, there are a lot of contradictions in this world and there's much hypocrisy!

I have to say that being non-partisan means being able to call out misbehaviour on all sides of the political spectrum.

Well actually I do hold the Muslim community responsible for Bondi. The two men might have squeezed the triggers but the rest of those good Muslims didn’t warn authorities and their spokesmen have uttered mealy mouthed condolences and failed in their responses overall. But then if you have cousin marriage and inbreeding then clannish behaviour is to be expected.

Please all remember John Ruddick was on the bridge - our beloved Libertarian. He seems to have lost his way.

I asked my local member some questions about the barbarian protestors and why the police went for soft targets instead of enforcing the ban. Looking forward to her answer.

Another great IF/THEN James.

Muslims are always playing the victim card & both our media & govts constantly pander to them. Sure, there are many good Muslims, but they stay quiet when the radicals amongst them are active which only means they’re either afraid of speaking up against them or they condone their actions.

Looking forward to a fabulous Australia Day filled with Australian flags, bbqs, good cheer, respect & unity.

Cheers to all. Oy Oy Oy!!

I'm with you mate!

Bloody oath!

If Mitcham Council in SA voted to NOT celebrate Australia Day on 26th for the next 15 years, without consulting their residents, does that mean they are showing "leadership" or maybe they just hate "Australia."

Bob Johns's avatar

Well ,hate them ,Paul celebrate Australia day despite the suburban busybodies who would be better worrying about roads rates and rubbish and leave the important stuff to grown ups who really matter .

Hi James- no argument from me about any of the issues you deal with...in particular the muslim clerics & leaders definitely should be out there, loud & clear on public media denouncing anti- semetic attacks. As for the murderer in prison being given a Koran- dreadful. If he is to be re- educated he needs to be given a bible! Amen.

Andrew lawson's avatar

Yes the Koran specifically instructs moslems that it is a religious duty to kill Jews and Christians. Following the example of Mohamed himself. He ordered a Jewish city of 41,000 Jewish people to convert to his new religion. When they refused he slaughtered most of them. The ruins of the city are still there and empty to this day.

His Jewish wife saw her father, brothers and whole community murdered, she was selected by Mohamed , married to him and then raped by him. All in 1 day!

The religion of peace!

Actually I have heard some official statements of condemnation from Moslem clerics and organisations, condemning antisemitism. I was surprised and pleased, actually. The latest was from the imam who was run off the road and attacked because his wife was wearing a head covering. He denounced both antisematism and Islamaphobia. Perhaps we all should do the same - it would lead to a much more loving society.

John Coe's avatar

Agreed. However, I think many of us already do. What happened to that chap and his wife was disgraceful. However, when people of differing cultures go out of their way to differentiate themselves from their host society, they are inviting at the very least, comment. When people, representing a culture totally at odds with the values of their host culture, go out of their way to differentiate themselves from their host society, they are being provocative. One has to deal with deliberate provocation in a totally different, intelligent, firm and consistent manner.

Judith Anne MacDonnell's avatar

Hmmm, so perhaps it was their fault that they were attacked. We should look more alike, less diverse. Reminds me of the book "The Giver".

An old mate of mine who was a loco driver on the NSW railway lived in a suburb of Sydney near the railway workshops and was over a few years over run with people of "middle easter appearance . confided in me on day that he had aquired ,on the black market a .22 pistol and declared that the nextf____g rag head that spits on me or my wife is going to die . H e didnt need to as he retired soon after and moved to the bush in Victoria But is just an indicator on how well these people have assimilated into OUR society .

Judith Anne MacDonnell's avatar

Wow! That's the spirit, on both sides. So glad he didn't "need" to!
