Mexico’s newly-elected female President has demanded Spain apologise for colonising Aztecs, Incans, and Mayans.

President Claudia Sheinbaum is living every woman’s dream. She doesn’t just want an apology from her husband; she’s demanding an apology from an entire country.

I suppose we can at least be grateful she didn’t go with the line, “If you don’t know what you did wrong, I’m not going to tell you.” Small mercies.

But we all know how this goes. It begins with an apology and then it quickly moves to reparations.
