A company in Berlin is hiring out “non traditional handy workers” for people who don’t want a man doing their home repairs.
The advertisement features a young woman complaining that she needs to install a chandelier, but doesn’t want to be alone with “traditional handymen” who, to be fair, probably don’t want to be alone with her either.
She continues …
“So I called Berlin’s non-traditional handy workers. The Driller Queens are women, trans and non-binary.”
Right.
So if you need a handyman, but don’t feel comfortable with handymen, you can now hire a handyman who identifies as a handywoman so you can pretend you’re not alone with a handyman.

I wouldn’t trust anyone to do anything for me whose primary selling point was that they were “diverse”, or “queer.” I need a light installed in my living room, not a Pride parade through the house.
Okay, it’s time for an oldie, but a goodie. How many gender queer handy-thems does it take to change a lightbulb?
Two.
Even then, they need the help of the woman who hired them.
And it’s still installed incorrectly.
If you want diversity, you’re going to need to be prepared to pay a premium for it.
One man would have done the job right.
I don’t think actual handymen will be worried by the advent of Driller Queens, though, since they’ll eventually be employed to fix up the mess.
I’m hopeless at repairs, but seriously, this video didn’t make the Driller Queens look much better than me. I might trust them to make me a sandwich - maybe.
The Driller Queens complain that …
“In the handyman trade there is almost a complete lack of diversity, inclusivity or anything like this.”
I wasn’t aware there was a campaign to prevent women doing home repairs.
Oh wait, there’s not.
As in so many cases where the left bemoan a “lack of diversity”, the lack of diversity is really just a lack of interest.
The Driller Queens advertisement asks …
“Why hire cis men? You don’t create inclusivity by excluding people.”
That makes about as much sense as the way they installed the light. “You don’t create inclusivity by excluding people”? Huh? The whole ad is literally about excluding ‘cis men’!
Can you imagine a commercial where someone says “I need this chandelier installed but I don’t feel comfortable with a trans person doing it”?
Before you could say ‘Bud Lite', there’d be a gazillion complaints to the local anti discrimination commissioner who would drag you off to a re-education camp, or a public school, but I repeat myself.
Yet they can promote discrimination against straight men without any danger of prosecution.
The Driller Queen website promises …
“We will prioritise your personal pronouns - they’re important, which is why they’re part of our intro questions”.
Me: I need a light installed
Driller Queens: Fantastic. But first, lets do the really important things.
Me: You want to see the light fixture?
Driller Queens: Oh no. That’s not necessary. No, we want to know what pronouns you’d like us to use when we get you to come and help us with the one-man job you’re paying two of us to do?
Do we address you as he/him? Or as she/her? Or as they/them?
Me: Yeah, um, actually, I just remembered the light was already installed last week. My bad. Bye”

You sure know how to cover all bases. Yes many schools are re-education, indoctrination or propaganda camps.
These people will never cease from finding something to winge about even when they are the cause of the problem. I say fix it yourself if you don't want our help. We don't need your business and we don't need your litigation over pronouns when you can't even get your grammar right.
