Did You See Her Dress? Me Neither.
To be fair, maybe it was laundry day in the West household
A woman turned up at the Grammys stark naked yesterday and everyone said it was shocking, though no-one was particularly shocked, or even interested.
“Did you see that dress at the Grammys?”
“No? Neither did I!”
CNN’s headline made me laugh …
“In a world of naked dresses, did one take it too far?”
Gee CNN, I don’t know!
Perversion is one of the main signs of civilizational collapse. Talk about a culture in decline.
Speaking of decline, times must be tough for Kanye West who apparently can’t afford to buy his wife a dress, even for the Grammys.
Bianca Censori appeared alongside her husband on the red carpet wearing what appeared to be … a single stocking leg.
I was greatly amused watching her tug at the hem, such as it was, in a forlorn bid to cover more of her nether regions.
Was it fashion? Or was it just a body? One thing is for sure, when you show up at the Grammys in the nude, you’re saying: ‘This is all I have to offer the world’.
Can you bare it?
Make Women Modest Again!
Oh wait, the Taliban already did that.
Speaking of which, the pair’s appearance on the red carpet did give me reverse burka vibes.
Kanye is standing there fully clothed and looking ‘normal’ while he parades his partner naked.
I feel like somewhere between this indecent exposure and the burka there ought to exist a happy place of comfort and elegance that humanity could strive for again.
Call me a dreamer.
Our cultural elites are no longer shocking for the same reason they no longer produce movies worth watching, or art worth contemplating, or music much worth listening to … they lack all creativity.
‘Wear nothing’ is hardly creative.
Yet our Hollywood types will argue that turning up starkers for an awards night is high art.
And that’s the great thing about being an artist. You get to be a complete nut job while demanding, as if by divine right, that people fawn all over you for being edgy and brave.
Mostly though, we just yawn.
The couple’s stunt was very bad. But mostly it was just very boring.
The female form is beautiful. But when it’s exploited, well it’s just banal.
In fact, most of us looked at the beautiful naked woman on the red carpet and just felt sad.
That’s telling.
It was also telling that we all knew she was a woman without needing to ask her pronouns! Selah.
Neither was it lost on us that if we tried that sort of thing, most of us would have game wardens chasing us with tranquilliser darts.
Their art is our indecent exposure. How does that work?
The irony is that this all comes from the same crowd who turned on Harvey Weinstein outraged at his sexual abuse of women and casting couch rape.
Kanye, who was starring harder than Zuckerberg at a Presidential Inauguration, paraded his wife naked for the entire world like she was an object to be pawned.
#Metoo?
Anybody?
The problem of course is that liberalism’s anything-goes attitude permits literally anything - so long as it’s the elites doing it, of course.
And so anything goes.
Maybe the Grammys, which is now a freak show for all those who consider themselves to be elite, has finally found its line in the sand moment.
I mean, once you’ve gone full nude, what’s the play next year?
Acutally, I hear Kanye plans for his wife to have her gynecological exam on the red carpet in 2026. But there will be nothing to show in 2027 for sure.
It’s all so depressing.
But, as always, I have tried to come up with a silver lining to encourage subscribers to The James Macpherson Report that all is not lost.
But is there something redemptive in this sordid episode? Is there anything at all in this for which we can be thankful?
Well yes. Thank God, that Kanye isn't married to Lizzo.
It was sad James….and sickening
My first thoughts were “satanic and decay”
Is there anyone in that industry that has moral compass enough to speak up.
Surely we’ve reached the tipping point!
As Sky’s Caroline Di Russo said “ there’s a Nonna in Australia so ashamed of her granddaughter today”
To be honest, I don’t watch the Grammy’s , the Academy Awards etc. these people lack a moral compass and literally live in La La Land!
