What do Delta Goodrem's and Kylie Minogue's glaring Christmas antics on stage have in common with the birth of the Saviour* of mankind? Such mad shows are a parody of what happened in Bethlehem 2000 years ago.
*To save/rescue from the second (eternal) death (Rev. 20) on judgement day.

If it were not an historical fact (as you say) we wouldn’t have BC and AD and neither would Easter and Christmas be such important worldwide events. Proverbs 3:5-6: Trust in the Lord with all thine heart: and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy paths.
In todays world, we have all answers at the touch of a key stoke in a search engine. Or do we? Our limited knowledge and questionable wisdom should cause us to lean on our Lord Jesus Christ more and more every day!!!!!
Please read your Bible and pray for knowledge and wisdom every day. Pray for our country and the leadership of our country!
I see where you're coming from Mark - but I don't agree. If we want to be like Nazi Germany we can go that route, but not as Christians! I DO know quite a few wonderful people who happen to be Moslems, and I am very disappointed in the tone of many comments here. As I've said before, fear of the unknown can lead to terrible things. By getting alongside and really understanding people we will find that the vast majority want just the same kind of life that we do. Peace, enough money to live a happy life, health, and the best for their kids. Jesus said we should let the wheat and tares grow together until; the harvest - how on earth are we going to judge anyone? But by challenging and attacking all those who are Moslems, the whole fabric of our society would be changed. And I do not want to live in a world where suspicion automatically falls on someone because of their faith. BTW Whose faith would be held up as the gold standard? Even within Christianity there are big differences! I believe the time will come (perhaps sooner than we think) when Christians will perscute other Christians for their faith. It has been done on a grand scale before, and it will happen again. Let us not be a part of that!

When I get to the Eternal City, I'm headed for the Celestial Trip which God will show how it all began!
He is Real, Christmas is a prelude to that Star Trip, just a man made pageant to keep reminding us that the Child of woman has overcome the seed of Satan and time is running out fast. Who knows how many more babes in a manger will we see!
